Order status for Canada?

Seems like a crappy way to jack-up their pre-order numbers. I wouldn't have bothered if I knew they were doing this I would have just taken my chance at one of the stores, if they had them they had them. If not I sure you'd get it over the next week or so anyways.

The rep was kind enough to upgrade my shipping from standard to express.

Just to confirm; where abouts are you guys from in Canada? I tried to update my shipping this morning but they didn't allow me to... Should I try again?

Processing Items
Ship by Oct. 14th

Called Apple, told me the same thing they've been telling everyone else. The phone will ship out on the 14th. Not be delivered then.
 
So I guess the only people could actually pre-order the phone through Apple were Americans. That was quite the stunt, pretty sleazy for Apple. They might as well have done a staggered release. I hear its the same for those in the UK, so I wouldn't be surprised if it not for the rest of Europe too. I guess I'll phone and complain tomorrow. Pretty deceptive of them.
 
This kind of sucks. Not the end of the world that I won't be getting it for another few days, but totally screws up a few things for me.. Should have just waited in line early like I did every other launch.
Won't be pre-ordering again thats for sure.
 
Same boat, it's not that big a deal but this time I even have two new Apple Stores within 30 minute drive this time. If it doesn't show any movement by Thursday end of day I might just go get one and then return the other one. Probably could sell it to some one in the second batch of countries that don't get it till the end of October, after all it's even unlocked.
 
Someone feom vancouver posted in another thread saying it will be delivered on 14th accord g to the CSR (1800MYapple)
He asked them about this twice and they said yes and cinfrimed it

Hope it's true!

Also from vancouver. I called Apple today too, but the CSR was saying that all Canadian orders don't ship until the 14th. He was saying that because the cdn iPhones are unlocked, they didn't want anyone to get them early and resell them for profit.
 
Well then using that logic I guess we can't have them until the end of October because we could sell them to the 22 second tier release countries. Starting to think the CSR's either don't know or just say random crap to get people off the line.
 
If it's only shipping on the 14th and not set for delivery on that date I'm going to be annoyed. I rearranged my whole life around this thing!! Even cancelled a hair appointment so I could be home to receive it. (And trust me, I need it - I look like that douche from Nickelback).

Same, I canceled a trip partly due to the pre order. If I had known that the pre porder would be later than launch I would have just went in line and bought it.🙁
 
Everyone’s status is still “Processing”?

I ordered right when the store went online on pre-order day,… and my status is still not even “Prepare for shipment”.

Will we get ours (unlocked straight from Apple) on 17th Oct Monday? Or later?
 
I think we'll just have to wait and see. Everyone has gotten conflicting answers it seems when calling Apple.
 
When i log into my credit card, from my card credit remaining, I know Apple have put some kinda pending authorization on my credit card.

So, hopefully, it’ll ship soon.
 
Looks like phones for Australia are beginning to move and they are unlocked too. So there's still hope.

I had the same thing on mine since friday.. Can't see the holds/authorizations, but the credit limit was different by the amount of the preorder from Apple. Just today though it changed, credit available is as if there's no holds/auths on the card at all..

mine is exactly the same. Ordered at 12.40PST on 7th. Still says processing. Its ridiculous considering its Wednesday already!!
 
ordered 2AM PST Oct7 from store.apple.com/ca

My status just changed from Processing to Preparing for Shipment - Delivers 17 Oct - 18 Oct
