Me too. This has actually happened to me every single time! One time my shipment tracking number only went "live" upon delivery! But it's fun and a way to spend the time! Certainly better than waiting in front of an Apple store! (Although probably about the same thing, just more comfortable.)

My status FINALLY updated to "Prepared for Shipment" lol. (I ordered on the 7th). 4 more days to go 
I seriously feel bad for people on the 7th that have not got their tracking number yet. I just got mine today. For people who ordered after the 7th, unless you work a swing shift or had no access to a computer, I don't really feel bad for you.
Finally got my 64GB, Verizon, White iPad order in at 4:45PM EST on the 7th. It has been in Preparing for Shipment since Saturday. I see other people move from Preparing to Shipped within a couple of hours, but mine is still there.
I am not worried yet, as it's actually probably better. My 4S was processing until Thursday, when they shipped it overnight. Why do I say better? Because, with overnight shipping, you likely will get guaranteed delivery by 10:30AM, instead of waiting all day. Another nice thing? It's more likely that the glue has settled, meaning you won't have to worry about your iPad having the "yellow screen".
I loved watching my 3GS ship from China and following the planes over. That was a lot of fun and excitement, but I think those of us still waiting got the better end of the deal in the end.

My status hasn't changed, but the charge is pending on my credit card. So, I guess I'm still set for 3/16 delivery.

Yeah, I preordered mine with a credit card I never use. The transaction got flagged for fraud detection and I've had to deal with that. I hope it didn't delay anything.
This is my first time ordering an apple product online (or any other product for that matter). Before this, I could never understand my friends' anxiety as they waited anxiously for their orders to arrive, as though it were the arrival of their first-born.

Well..I also ordered the digital AV adapter which I tracked all the way from China and it arrived 2 days early receiving it yesterday (Monday). I don't see how that would "slow down" my iPad processing such that it would require 6 days now in "Processing Order".

I originally ordered on 3/7 as soon as I could get the Apple store to load - browser kept timing out, but I persisted and got my order in for a 32GB wifi. The next day, I decided I wanted a 4G instead, so I cancelled the first order and reordered. If I had made up my mind on launch day which one I wanted, maybe I'd have a shipping confirmation by now.
Maybe today's the day...

So sad, but with every diaper change of my new baby last night I ran into the kitchen to check my iPhone for Shipment emails. Alas, none.
