OK - my theory.

All the watches are in the Tamworth UK hub. Today they are being spread around the country ready for Friday, hence people's status changes to preparing for dispatch.

HOWEVER as I am in Tamworth, there is no need for mine to be moved, meaning there is no need for mine to change from processing and can be delivered straight to mine from there.

Please Lord Francis, let this be true.

Just so I don't go crazy today, if your card's been charged and your shipping status is now "Preparing for Dispatch", you no longer have to keep refreshing things as the next status change will involve a "Dispatched" email from Apple?

I have the same. It's the deliveries app being dumb. It's interpreting the worst case date (8/5) as 5th of August rather than the 8th May.

But if they have been charged and their order has gone to preparing to dispatch then I think it's safe to say that the watch will arrive very soon, before June.

Yeah, it does seem strange though. These orders are all over the place!

My predictions have a 2 hour delay, i should've mentioned that yesterday

They could, but from all accounts they don't charge until you've been allocated and confirmed a product, whatever it might be.

If they have allocated my watch, and it's preparing to be dispatched... then why would it take until June?

A lot of the problems are with space grey watches, and I knew this would happen. So I went with a silver white sport watch.

I think there are a lot is us 42mm SG buyers in the same boat. Just infuriates me that people who ordered it after us have been charged and are preparing for dispatch. Pisses me right off!!!

Don't get it either mate. Only thing is that it gives me hope that mine will come on Friday having been one of the first orders.

Just been charged 99p on my bank account that wasn't there an hour ago.

Haven't used my card for that amount at all. Is that some sort of authorisation for the wife's 38mm. My Space Grey 42mm has already been charged.
