Order Thread for UK (BST)

I just spoke to an apple rep there, i ordered a SS 42MM Milanese Loop at 8.07am on the preorder day. I asked about when i would get charged, and he answered this
"Ok so I can see that it hasn’t been charged as of yet, although this will happen 3 days before the dispatch period, which is a 2 week window in your case"

So theres a chance i could get it Friday, but its unlikely. Ah well, least i should have it within a fortnight.

Are Apple charging for June dispatch?

I ordered a 42mm SS watch with black sports band at 08:02 on 10th and got 24th April - 8th May - £519. That evening my wife decides she wants one, my birthday is the 24th April so that would be a great present for me and my wife's is June. I ordered her a 38mm Sport Watch with white sports band - £299 with a June dispatch. Quite happy with that means hopefully we should get our watches around our birthdays! Result.

Yesterday I got charged £299 which I can only assume is for my wife's watch?!? Surely they are not charging people 6 to 8 weeks in advance of dispatch? Both orders still show processing today..

I did read that not many people have been charged with my configuration but just wondered what your thoughts are on this lol.

Although I've known for over a week that I might not get it until 2 weeks after the 24th release date, I will still be so sad if it doesn't come on Friday.

I'm with HSBC and my available balance has gone down but no charge as of yet. Still processing, too. Space grey 42mm for me also.

I hope everyone doesn't ditch the forums when their watch comes on Friday while I sit staring at them while drowning my sorrows in spicy pork salad.

So pessimistic. I'll grant you as time rolls merrily on it looks less and less likely. But until close of business on Thursday no one can say with any certainty what will and will not be shipped.

No one anywhere has seen the SS BSB orders move. So either Apple haven't manufactured a single SS black sport band, which lets be honest seems unlikely, or the order processing for them hasn't been done.

I don't see why it's far fetched. It's not as if the factory has only made them this week. There will be loads in stock somewhere and for a relatively small country like the UK, it makes sense to ship a plane full of early orders to a central hub and ship them out from there. In the US, that might only make sense for some of the bigger urban areas. Later orders will only just be made this week so will also come direct from China.

The company responsible for updating order statuses on behalf of Apple are working through all the 1st wave orders just now. Obviously that takes time.

People are still getting new changes happening all the time right now.

You all need to calm down and wait it out.

It has turned out to be incorrect... so I'm right? Or are you saying you are correct in which case where is the proof?

Oh so you know for a FACT that nobody has had one charged in the WORLD do you? Nope, didn't think so. And one person here from HK HAS had a charge.
 
For the record I ordered at 08:03 I think - got my confirmation email at 08:04 for the 42mm Sport SG and I'm still on processing.

My gf got herself a white band Sport 38mm at 08:15 and hers just this morning has gone to preparing for shipping.

Seems a lot of us in the 08:04 situation share the same boat.

LOL!! Are you joking? Where was your proof that your 'logic' was true? Was it confirmed by Apple?

I am saying it has turned out to be incorrect based on what we have seen today. Everyone's watch would need to be 'preparing for shipping' when it is, funnily enough, 'preparing to ship'. If yours hasn't, chill out and wait until they get yours.

It's not difficult.
 
Guys, you could get charged today at 4pm like most people did yesterday and still get your watch on Friday.

They'll have thousands of watches to go through and allocate to orders. Just don't give up hope until late tomorrow night!
