I wonder if Apple decided to send mine together so save on shipping charges which makes sense.. Time will tell. No guarantee until i have both in my hands but the fact its changed status and have been charged is positive.
Hi guys I've had my Space Grey, Black sports strap preparing for dispatch since early this morning. Took my money 4pm yesterday. I confirmed pre-ordered 8:03. Don't think there's any truth in the Space Grey theory about not making Friday delivery. All seems to be going as planned to be fair. Hope this helps
Mine was same order at 8.03. Money taken from account yesterday at 4pm but Apple Store says still processing. Seems totally random as to who gets one on Friday!!

Yes my order is showing absolutely fine on my Apple account - it's just that every one is talking about the time stamped Apple confirmation emails and I don't have one :-( - it's just making me a little twitchy Thursday

I for one don't know what to think...both of the watches I've ordered (SG Sport 42mm and Sport with Pink band 38mm) are still in Processing, credit card hasn't been charged. I'm in the first batch, 24/4 (supposed) delivery, email confirmation received at 8:04. I don't know, I've just been to the store and had a few try-ons and now I want it even more! But, will it be on my wrist on Friday? Chances are slimmer by the minute
I wouldn't worry too much about that - the initial £1 is done at point of order and is only a pre auth to ensure the card details are correct - it is very quickly cleared and won't show up on pending purchases indefinitely. I have only really become aware of how commonplace they are since getting the Amex passbook which notifies me instantaneously whenever a pre-auth / purchase hits my account (many websites or services have a similar temporary charge when you update card details even without an associated purchase). I would say the majority of card users are never aware that anything was ever against their card unless they happen to notice their available balance is temporarily £1 lower than it should be.
If the order is showing up in your account then that is the main thing. You won't see any further action on your card until it is ready to move to preparing for dispatch. Bit strange that the order confirmation email never showed up - on your account when you click on view / edit order details does it definitely show the correct email address? If so I would recheck your spam filter - depending on your provider it may be in their server spam filter rather than your email client's.

I can understand not being able to cancel it, but why can't it be returned? Is that text normal?
Just been observing thread over last couple of days. Thought a good time to comment that SG 42. Order confirmation of 8:01. Payment taken yesterday and order changed to preparing for shipping today at about lunch time. So hoping for a Friday delivery.

Maybe check your spam, but in honesty, as long as the order is showing up in the apple account I wouldn't worry at all. If you want one, chat with the support and ask them to resend it.

M8 I got 08:03 on a 42mm SG Sport, I've heard nuffin.
I'm resigned to not getting it on Friday now, hopefully early next week.
Annoying because I've seen some people in the 4-6 week range getting charged and "preparing for dispatch".
Just found out that my brother in law has ordered a space grey 38mm sport and Apple took the money yesterday and his status has handed to preparing for dispatch. He also ordered a SS link but it's down as the end of May.
Yeah that's the thing. People ordering AFTER I did are getting notifications, charges, whatever. Why is this so random? Delivery location is central London so that couldn't impact delivery...

It's strange - I have a Mac.com account, so hopefully an Apple would not be classed as Spam
I have bought from Apple many times before and I normally receive their emails fine - I do normally skim through my junk mail just in case.Hopefully my email is in an alternative cyber universe. Been watching this thread for a few days alongside constantly refreshing my apple account and my santander account, I got a confirmation email at 8.04 for my 42mm Space grey aluminium sport but I've not heard a peep since, I spoke to santander earlier who said a £1 charge was put onto my card on the 10/4/2015 but nothing has happened since, beginning to think I won't be receiving my watch on release day, makes me sad!
Is there any way to find out tracking references yet for us UK peeps? or gotta wait until Apple update?
