Order Thread for UK (BST)

Luckily I had already booked time off and had decided to stay at home for my holiday before the dates were even announced. So I will be at home tomorrow which makes it easier as if I had to go to work I would need to leave around 8:00AM.

That said my current plan is to get up when I normally would if I was going to work which is 6:30AM, have my morning cup of tea, get ready and get set with my iPad and iPhone fully charged with the store app and web site ready to go. Assuming I've made a successful preorder for the watch I'm going to try and preorder a second band and maybe a second charge cable. If I can make a reservation to try the watch in store I will then do that just to get a hands on with it.

My main choice is the 42mm SS with sport band.
 
I'm in the UK and am looking forward to finally being able to order tomorrow. I'm going to go for either blue/white 42mm Sport with an additional black band (I prefer the silver on black look rather than the space grey which I think is a bit limiting).

Why don't you think it'll be possible?

Admittedly this is my first ever preorder and I'm sure the UK stock is going to be pretty limited but surely if we're ordering at 0801 on the dot we'll get what we want. I think reading these forums probably gives you a slightly distorted view of how many people are interested in buying this tomorrow.

How is everyone preordering? Desktop site? Apple Store App? I've got my choices saved as favourites ready to order... Guess it'll just be a case of hitting refresh at the right time.

Have to take the car to the garage in the morning then try and get in to the office before 8.01.

Coffee will be required.

I'll be pre-ordering online from the UK, since we probably won't be getting in store reservations for the 24th. I'll be pre-ordering a SS with bright blue leather loop and 2 sport bands a white one and a black or blue one. Hoping I can order within the first wave of 8:01am.
 
So I'm working a night shift tonight. Finish at 7.30 will go to Starbucks and wait until 8.01 and then put my order in. I'll take my iPhone and iPad Air 2 with me tonight. Hopefully I get lucky with one of those in the morning.

Does anyone know if we can book the appointments to preview the watch online? That would save me running to the store at 9am :)
 
Waking up tomorrow at about 7am in Northern Ireland to get my pre-order in.
Will be getting the Stainless Steel with Link Bracelet 42mm hopefully. Failing that i'll buy a sport band stainless steel watch to get the watch ASAP and buy the Links Bracelet separately, works out the same price and I get the watch faster.

Those apparent leaked times are putting me off so much and causing minor panic attacks haha.

Im paying by 3 different gift cards. My game plan is to be ready with notes open and copy and paste each individual gift card code in for payment.

I will also have different tabs open for each option and also a checkout/ basket tab open. I view the one I would like to buy, so if shipping times suit I can hit add to basket, refresh the checkout tab and make the purchase. This means if the one I want isn't available for 4-6 weeks then I can simply switch to another tab without having to go and navigate to the other watch.
 
I'm so glad that (some of) you are as nuts as I am. You don't want to know how often I've changed my favourites over the last four weeks. I could be sectioned.

I'm getting the 42mm SS with white sports band. I'm glad to see none of the rest of you are (so far). Less competition!

I'll be firing up the website and the app and clicking on whichever gets me there first. The website will be on my wireless network and the app on my 4G network, just in case!

If I don't get delivery on the 24th I can't be held responsible for the consequences!

I meant not possible to RESERVE as there is no option yet.

Pre-ordering, of course. I have always used the Apple Store app. Every time I've used it for pre-ordering I've had no issues and I hope it stays that way tomorrow.

Whichever one works first. I'll try both and on both my iPad and iPhone. The Apple Store app usually goes live slightly before the web site and is easier to navigate.
 
Just set my alarm on my phone and put the Apple Store app in my dock... :p

Looking forward to tomorrow, hopefully it goes smoothly for everyone!

Good luck with the 3 tabs, remember the Apple website from past pre orders is always down for maintenance right up the minute when the preorders go live. With the iphone 6 preorders the site didn't go back up till about 08:07

42mm ss with classic buckle. Not seen many posting with that combo so hopefully loads of stock for me (I wish!)

Like someone else said, those reports of low stock and long delivery dates have me very nervous esp. After the ***** storm that was the iPhone 6 preorders.

Here's hoping for a really smooth experience tomorrow.. :)

The reports of low stock and long delivery times have made me nervous too and I'm agonising now. LOL. Normally I look forward to preorder days but this is one where I can't wait for it to come soon enough so I can get it over and done with hopefully with the desired results. I'll be relieved when tomorrow morning comes around and hopefully I'm able to preorder the one I want for the earliest available delivery date. Then I can relax and wait.
 
42mm Sport Green for me! Don't have to start work until 08:30am so will be up in plenty of time for the 08:01am preorder launch. Hoping it all goes smoothly...

I'd be all over the classic buckle if they did it in brown. I'm not particularly fashion conscious but it would annoy me being black when I usually wear brown belt and shoes.
 
I can see that its gonna be a real bun fight over the space grey aluminiums lol. Somehow I dont think there will be enough to go around.
I am staying out if that one :)
 
I'm going for 42mm space black SS
I on the late shift tonight and don't get home till 1am but day off tomorrow so I'll get up at 7:45 and fire up the pc and iPad and hope for the best :cool:
 
Don't forget to head over to the store now before it goes down (soon) to make sure your default billing/shipping addresses are correct and turn on Express Checkout! Will save valuable seconds!! :apple:
