Definitely the link.....mainly because I want the SS Milanese Loop and want to limit the competition #

I just wanted to clarify this as I've heard varying things - how will the card payments work tomorrow? Is there a charge? A hold? Do all the funds have to be there? This is for a visa debit. Cheers (SS 38mm milanese btw)

In my excitement for tomorrow I was definitely flustered when I wrote that.

Though the site had issues I was able to order my 6+ without any shipping delays or stock problems.

Funds in there but they hold the cash for a short time, then charged when it's dispatched.

They (from memory when I've bought other stuff actually in stock) "take" the money to confirm you have it then return it about a day later and then actually TAKE the money when its shipped.

I would believe there will be a hold, just like with ordering previous iPhones and my experience there. The money would be taken from my account probably the Tuesday or Wednesday after pre-ordering on the Friday. Not sure about everyone else though.

Tomorrow I am going to try ordering and paying with PayPal, since that is new to the ordering process now.
 
so what happens if your not in when they deliver? Does it go back to the depot ?
I will be leaving for work at 1pm!:eek:
 
Well I am thinking of getting the Space Grey Aluminium too!!! Just still doddling over the idea of the aluminium one but think it would be too light as I have a black watch at the moment :p I have a Space Grey iPhone 6 soo Space Grey watch would go well, everyone stand aside I'm preordering one first join the queue ;)
 
can you cancel your pre-order anytime before it ships? I just want to pre-order the one I think I'm getting, go try it on, and then maybe change.
 
Apparently Apple will offer the ability to swap straps in store if you're unhappy with your choice. I wonder if this will apply to Watches we have home delivered.

I'm debating between the classic buckle or the magnetic leather strap. The former being a timeless design that promises a secure fit. The leather strap however looks really comfortable, a bit different, and has no metallic parts on the underside that might scratch up my Mac while typing.

oh is that true - so the early reports were false? Dammit - that puts a spanner in the works, but hey ho, white is the most subtle band for the aluminium body imo

But hey, that'll probably give you time to pop into an Apple Store and see one in person. Then you can make a more fully informed decision. I worry that too many people are just pulling the trigger on impulse because OOH APPLE and OOH SHINY without fully weighing up the pros and cons and actual usefulness of the device.

I'm personally hoping to bag an Apple Watch appointment for Saturday so I can actually go see, and touch, one.

You can cancel up to a point. At some point cancellation will no longer be available so you would have to keep an eye on your preorder details. I don't remember at what point this happens though but it's usually a few day before it's due to ship. As long as you cancel with the first few days you should be OK.
 
So I have the express checkout set up on the Apple Store when I'm viewing it the site on my iPad, but when I access the same page on my iPhone, it's showing as off and it won't allow me to change it...

Is there any reason as to why this might be?

Don't need any types of issues tomorrow morning....

Mine keeps switching off for some reason.

Be careful with it though because each time you flick the switch it submits a £1 transaction to your credit card. Obviously it's not eventually charged to you but you don't want your card issue to be flagging dodgy transactions at 8am tomorrow!

That's strange. I had to enable it separately on my iPhone but it did allow me to change it. I just did it now.
 
I called my bank earlier today to let them know ahead of time that I will be making a high value purchase tomorrow morning. In the past my bank have blocked my card when they see 'unusual activity' and if they do that tomorrow I will be in prison for murder by lunch time :D

I am hoping to get a 38mm SS with pink modern buckle for me and a space grey 38mm sport version for my daughter but I know hers is popular and may cause a problem.
 
Still can't decide between the Sport silver with white band or space grey! Will scratches show up more on the space grey?
 
Is anyone thinking of pre-ordering both the 38mm and 42mm versions then cancelling one a week later once we've had a chance to try them out in-store? Is this even possible or will Apple restrict it to 1 watch per person?
 
Space Grey 42mm Sport with black band has got to be the one.

Order very quick because it is going to be gone or long wait times very quickly I guarantee.
