I think all our apple products come from Ireland.
So I hoping today will be our day for things to start moving.

Are you running?

I did it last year, one of THE most amazing experiences of my life, good luck if you are.

Yep, running. Also did it last year. What a day. Bit of a marathon junkie.

Currently live in Dubai, so flying back specially. That's another reason it will be even more frustrating if the watch doesn't arrive on Friday, as I'll be flying back on Monday without it.

Why is it a joke? I'm assuming they'll send the first ones out to arrive on Friday, so you'd expect them to be sent on Wednesday, I guess (if they're coming from Ireland). If they're in the UK then it could be Thursday - I ordered something from Amazon on Saturday and it arrived Sunday afternoon - so midweek overnight is pretty normal nowadays.

The US is a much bigger place (and don't forget nothing's been dispatched there yet) - they've just been charging cards.

After reading other people's logical musings about shipping (my personal first Apple order launch in the UK), it seems very likely and plausible due to the size of the country, everything is still on track for a Friday delivery even if we don't see any movement or charges until tomorrow.

I was a bit worried last night when the US had their charges and we haven't, but now, after reading a bunch of posts from overnight, I am much more relaxed about it all.

I'm just kinda meh!

I always thought the U.S. would get shipment notifications first but I didn't think we should be this far behind.

Having said that, it's suspect that no UK orders have moved yet, which is a good sign. I'm still optimistic, I will panic if any of you guys get your order confirmed and I don't. Lol

People need to relax. This isn't Apple's first launch of a new product and they are used to shipping bigger volumes such as the iPhone.

Door to door from China take 48 hours, you're normally sent a dispatch notice once it leaves china and charged when it hits either Germany (the hub) or UK.

If they already have watches in Tamworth, then you won't see anything till Wednesday or Thursday when they produce the shipping labels.

It doesn't really need a new thread..

Also, we have never been told. 24/04, we have a window until May. It might make sense to send all of Fridays to the states and sort us out next week!

I bloody hope not though! :)

It's just cruel to make people wait for a definitive date though. If I need to see the 24/04-08/05 status for another 2 weeks it will seriously kill my buzz. Lol

I'm sorry but with this ridiculous two week delivery date window, I would like a bit more certainty before Thursday.
Right now my card has not been charged and no holds placed on funds at all, there's no tangible evidence that I have purchased anything and again I just don't trust this two week delivery window, particularly after knowing too well apple's contempt for the UK (no apple pay for the entire first year of the iPhone 6, ahem!)

I'm also running the marathon on Sunday for the first time... Ordered apple watch at 8.01 - so fingers crossed it will be here on Friday!
