I think I've discovered why I don't seem to be getting notifications - it doesn't show them when you're "actively using your phone" - and as I've spent most of the day on conference calls it appears I'm "actively using my phone" - which is a sensible battery saving device, as you don't need notifications if you're on your phone.

Agree re screen - it's awesome.

I had the same problem - took a while to figure out as I discovered that active use of my iPad also stopped messages on the watch as I have messages mapped through to my iPad from my phone.

It's still processing items... :/ 42mm SS BCB. I've recived an email from apple 2 nights ago saying: "Your Apple Watch will be delivered between April 24th and May 8th. When your order ships, we'll send you an email with a specific delivery date and tracking information."

Was at Green Park so popped round to see if I could get into Dover St. Hardly anyone there but not allowed in. So annoying that they wouldn't at least consider letting you queue if you're still stuck on bloody processing like me...

My wife's watch arrived, it is now mine until my space grey arrives!

First impression. It is going to take quite a while to get a feel for how exactly I configure the apps, glances, alerts, notifications etc. My choice of glances and apps will probably be an exercise in minimalism - only the very useful and very well designed will stay - 'wrist time' is too precious.

Thats a positive for those of us that have appointments booked for the weekend to know that there may still be stock left by the time we get there...

I'm on processing too BTW, but was on the work phone so have a fast redial function, so got through eventually. Wouldn't have been able to on mobile probably as takes too long to connect.

So mine arrived earlier.. Some thoughts so far:

- Surprised how small the 42mm watch actually is..
- The watch seems very 'quiet'. Even Siri doesn't talk to you.. :p
- Surprised the Music App can't access your iTunes Match music over the internet .
- Bit confused with the various gestures and still not sure what to press to do things. However, hopefully this will improve as I use it more..

really hoped we would see movement today on processing orders but it would appear not :mad:

yay I got it :) woop woop:apple::apple::apple:

synching is taking it's time, on my second attempt now, as first time round the iPhone decided to unpair the watch , grrrrrrr

Only got 10 mins to play, off to see the Avengers :cool::apple:

Fair enough - if I thought they were going to be so rubbish about day one deliveries (or even Monday) I would have done the same. After the 6+ launch (when it arrived on Monday) I thought the worst would be if get the watch early next week - now I'm not even sure of that. Bah.

Just worked out how to turn on the haptic feedback. Now I'm getting my notifications on my watch pretty cool. What's app works too.
