Order Thread for UK (BST)

So for those of us left it is time to drink a beer and curse the name Angela ahrendts,
and Tim Cook
and apple customer support for just being customer support
and China for not putting more workers to help build the thing and the Sun for coming up this morning allowing the delivery drivers to find their delivery addresses
and for Apple to be in Ireland so I cannot go round and argue with them face to face
and ..........
 
So far, I'm not hating on it, its amazing, but moving the crown and the button, any one getting sorta wrist cramp doing this?? it doesnt feel comfortable

You're probably waiting for the same driver who delivered mine about half an hour ago. I'm in Purley.
 
Still nothing UPS (NW6)
Same thing every year, always after 1600. For once UPS throw me a morning slot. Might try this hold for pick up thing next time
 
Just put my Sport on charge and it was 'pinging' every few seconds-what's that about? :confused:

It flashes beween 'Charging' and the face every second and when the Charging face comes on it gives audible 'ping'...

[Edit] - It's stopped now. :confused:
 
Got it, initial impressions

  • Lighter than expected
  • Sports band is comfortable
  • Setup was a breeze
  • Taptics are strange.... but much better than vibrating
  • I've turned almost all notifications off after the first 30mins of my wrist going nuts every few seconds
  • Easy to use, with some new "things" to learn (force press surprises)
  • Battery was 70% charged out of the box
  • Love seeing my next meeting at a glance!

I thought you were one of the people whose watch didn't dispatch yesterday?!

Still waiting on mine, **** knows where the UPS driver has gone :S

Got mine!!! Was scheduled for 14:59 - 15:59, but it turned up early at about 14:25.

Driver was in a big rush and asked me what was in the package. Apparently he has a lot of them to deliver and is under pressure to get them out on time!

And just now (45 minutes later) I've received an SMS from UK Mail telling me that the driver has one more delivery before mine :rolleyes:

Was this morning..
kept trying, eventually it rang and rang and rang.. 5 mins of waiting someone picked up, they had no appointments until monday, then he said "hold on, you're in luck, someone has just cancelled a 14:40"
There were people there in line, think they were given an opportunity to buy when a gap arose.
