Mines came on Friday but I was away on a half business/half personal trip so I got it today

They ****ing delivered on what they set out to do. Fair play fellas

Right, this could be a long post so be prepared! I've found information on cargo flights into East Midlands Airport - we've already proven that this is where all Apple Watches arrive to in the UK, regardless of their origin as EMA is the UK's largest freight airport, carrying 310,000 tonnes per year. As well as this, it is the main UK hub for DHL & UPS (as listed on EMA's cargo website).

After looking on East Midlands Airport's cargo website I've discovered the following possible flights could hold UK Apple Watches...

1) UPS237 from Louisville - Philadelphia - East Midlands (Run's daily)
2) DHL (Flight n.o unknown) from N. Kentucky - East Midlands (Run's daily)
3) TNT (Flight n.o unknown) from Shanghai - Liege - East Midlands (Run's daily)

The next two could be possible however I'm not sure as I don't know if Apple Watches only leave China through Shanghai or if they also leave through HK, if they do then:

4) DHL (Flight n.o unknown) from Hong Kong - Leipzig - East Midlands (Run's daily)
5) UPS (Flight. n.o unknown) from Hong Kong - Cologne - East Midlands (Run's daily)

No flights from the Netherlands arrive into East Midlands so the above flights are our available options, however all seem extremely viable, in fact I'm pretty certain Apple will use a variety of the flights above to ship Watches to the UK. It also seems very viable that this is correct as flights from China travel via Cologne & Leipzig which are known to be where Apple products often visit on their way to the UK.

All the aircraft flying to the UK were either 767's or 747F's capable of carrying up to 120 tonnes of cargo each! I imagine there are lots of Apple Watches that will be preparing to dispatch tomorrow! :D

Hope this helps! Here's my source if you'd like to look yourself: http://www.eastmidlandsairport.com/emacargo.nsf/Content/Destinations

Have you considered a PhD titled, 'The Theory Behind Apple Watch Delivery Routes' ? You could be onto something ;)

Hahaha ;) the web has all sorts of information out there, just takes some finding sometimes! I must say I do enjoy trying to figure out what they're doing behind closed doors, shipping wise! Helps pass the time! :D

Evening all.

I'm sure there will be some movement on the SGs tomorrow as there does seem to be a lot flooding into the U.S. It seems our customs might not be as effective at weekends.

As for Apple diverting UK stock, I seriously doubt it. UK stock has different packaging and a cool three-prong pop-up charger. I doubt they are taking UK watches out of their packages to repackage and send somewhere else in the world.

I blame Ed Milliband.:)

You are a special kind of masochist for looking all this up. I'm trying to think as little as possible about it

I thought Nike Talk threads were full on with their analysis of tracking, shipping etc but this tracking cargo flights that may or may not have apple watches on them is some next level inpatience. Those flights could have apple watches on yes but they could also have Samsung Galaxy curves on instead :D

Is there likely to be any useful information you could use from someones apple watch parcel that was delivered on the 24th? I have my gf's but I dunno if it has any information that would indicate freight.

Please, let's keep this thread politics-free.

Bored of the election already.

Thank you for doing all this research.

Does the piece of paper that came with the shipment in the box or on the box have anything you think is relevant on it? :)

Thank you for doing all this research.

No problem! Just want to be helpful and pass the time a bit! :)

Ye are all so lucky probably getting your orders next week ....I have to wait until June even though I ordered at 08:06! Do ye think there is any chance it could come early, now ?

Probably nothing but you never know.

what you said is correct it is an indication. But read the Email that was sent by Apple, it clearly says:

"Your Apple Watch will be delivered between April 24th and May 8th".

That is not saying estimated that clearly states that it will be. That is an order update and supersedes the original contract document. it is sent out to you clearly showing the Order Number and applies to your apple watch.

The original could be argued as you said but the e-mail clearly states "will be" not estimated.

As other's have clearly stated the order is governed by Apple's T&C's and as I pointed out the order confirmation points you to their help page which in turn confirms what apple means with their delivery estimates.

Good luck if you believe you have a case as you will need it!

Honestly, yes I do. Of course it does depend on the model ordered.

Apple now know the most popular models and will tailor production to meet demand.

I ordered my 42 SG BSB at 8.03:52. Obviously this is one of the most popular models and I'm having to wait for a few days while a friend who ordered a blue strap 38mm model hours later got it on Friday.

Hope all goes well for you.

Great, thanks for this.

I can only hope both of mine are on these planes as well as many others in this thread.
