First updates for me!

Ordered a SS BSB on April 11th with a 4-6 week delivery date. I think the dates originally quoted were May 13th-27th.

That's now been pushed back to 3-4 weeks, 19th-27th.

Ordered a SS WSB yesterday evening. 4-6 weeks, 24th-7th June estimated delivery.

That's also changed to 3-4 weeks, 19th-27th. Even though I ordered it a whole two weeks later.

So if there were any doubts about BSB demand compared to the others, well there it is.

Woop mine just updated!

Ordered SG Sport 42mm at 08.29 on 10th April.

Originally was given June date, now have "Delivery: 27 May, 2015 - 09 Jun, 2015".

Better than nothing I guess

As much as I can understand that demand is beating supply, it looks like a big mistake to have tried this new "experience" with a new product type. We all had favourites saved in the Apple Store app for weeks before order day, surely that would've given them some indication as to what models to make more of?

Congrats on getting your watch.:)

Shanghaichica - From the spreadsheet, did you get your 42mm Stainless Steel Black Strap delivered already?

I'm trying to understand the process that Apple follow when processing orders as I had ordered the same watch at 8:04am on pre-order launch day.

Doesn't seem to be logical at all.

We could only do that like a month before, changing whole production lines of that scale would have taken it down for several days. They didnt have that much time

I'll Have to have a look at the spreadsheet as I didn't order a stainless steel black strap

I ordered a 38 mm white sports watch which was delivered on Friday. :D

I also ordered a Milanese loop and pink sports band but they are still processing

Edit: I've corrected it now

I was amazed as ordered the 38 BSB on 16th April and got it on 24th April !!! Said my order was to be dispatched June!!!!! Am really pleased with it, buts it's a bit 'buggy' and some functions not working. Had to reset once already. Need an update Apple!! #

Quick update from Thomas at DSM,

They received 300 units today, both sizes, all sport bands and Milanese loop. This includes the space grey.

Deliveries are arriving daily.

He said the queues are getting shorter and that its probably worth a trip there if you can.
Could all be from one initial allocation and not new stock arriving in the UK. I doubt DSM want to have hundreds of watches on site when they can only sell a fraction of them daily. Makes sense they have been allocated say 1,000 originally and are having a few hundred delivered daily.

To add to my previous post, today's updates mean that I'll likely receive a SS White Sports Band I ordered last night before a Black Sport Band SS I ordered on April 11th.

The BSB has actually been pushed back in my order. Start of the window moved from 13th to 19th of May.

The WSB brought way, way forward.

Interesting. Might just cancel the BSB now the orders are within the same window and see what happens.

Thanks! That makes sense now, my wife ordered the same and she had her one delivered on Friday too.

My 42 SS BSB I ordered at 15:35 on 10th is still on 4-6 weeks 12/05-26/05

I ordered a 42 SS WSB this Saturday morning 25/04 which is currently June.

Will see what moves first....

Are people leaving the store (Dover Street Market London) with watches today?

Yeah, just got my 42mm Milanese. Ordered a 42mm SGS at 8:04 on the 10th, didnt even get charged. Went to see them yesterday and didn't actually like it in real life.

Ordered a June Milanese but chanced it today, waited about 1 and a half hours. Only have 42mm in Milanese and white sport. Plenty of 38mm including Space grey.

so only 8 more possible delivery days for Apple to get their fingers out before it slips outside the window.

A guy I know bought a 42mm SG BSB at 8:13 and he got it on Friday from pre-orders. He has no idea how he got it quicker. But he already is saying the black band is not looking so good after a few days of looking. he thinks it is grease from fingers and swaet that are discolouring it at moment.

He rang apple support and they say they will look at the band at the local store and if necessary will change.
