They are quite inconsistent. People have reported being told one thing whilst queuing up but once you get inside there is actually different stock available. Even whilst people are being served inside they were told one thing about stock and then corrected by another sales associate. As you are there you may as well wait to get inside and see what they have.

Thats what the lady inside told me. Already picked mine up this morning. 42mm SS Milanese. Bloody gorgeous I must say. Also for all the hairy armers out there it doesn't pinch like some watches do!!

Just FYI..

I ordered a watch on Saturday with a 'dispatch June' date. It seems apple have got a better idea now of production and stock as it has updated this morning as 'dispatch 3-5 weeks' and I now have a delivery date of 20th May.

Those of you that preordered at 8 on 10th should be confident that they will get their watch in their window.

Mine just changed from 21 May to 6 June to 19 May to 27 May.

Anyone else get an update?!?!?

Totally agree. However from :apple: point of view they have people queueing outside a store in one of the worlds big capital cities day after day to get the latest must have product! They play the long game and don't seem to care to much about their pre order customers. They already have our order they care about how they snare more and more of us!

Utter disgrace. It was clear that it was online orders only yet they are handing them out in a retail store ahead of fulfilling online orders.. Bad form on this one apple.

So my dates have changed but the website still says the original dates to those purchasing now. Must mean I have moved up the queue...

Just clicked back here semi-by accident after my SGS 42mm arrived on Friday. Sorry to see people still waiting.

I'll just say this, it's worth the wait. I've been using a Pebble Steel for 6 months and have been sold on the idea of wrist notifications. This raises the bar for the notifications and adds more utility. That being said as it stands the notification/fitness/communication features are the only stand out parts - all other functionality is of questionable usefulness IMO (time will tell!)

Two concerns which are not an issue: battery life 16.5 hours standby with 3.5 hours use left 45%. I feel little to no lag in using all built in apps except maps.

Congrats on getting your watch.:)

Thank you.

DSM said they did not anticipate the amount of calls and visitors to the store. They were caught out by Apple themselves not supplying their own stores so the unintended consequence being that DSM are the only store in the whole of the UK that has them.

I am seeing loads of people blaming Angela for this mess but seems to be this should be on Jeff Williams as VP of Operations it is his task to ensure there is enough supply and no-one can deny this has been a spectacular failure.

Your 38mm is exact same timing as mine, down to the second! Good luck my friend - I'm crossing everything for movement this afternoon.

Ah but the 38mm is the missus' watch, who funnily enough isn't too bothered as long as it arrives before our holiday in June! Me? I'm hitting refresh like there's no tomorrow!

well got mine.

I am currently in Bombay :) but ordered one the 42 stainless with leather and a classic buckle had it delivered to my office in the UK and asked my guys to ship it via UPS here to Bombay.

Got it this morning.... Joy :)

The same just happened to me.

Sport with Blue or Green Sport Band? They seem to be shipping quickly so hopefully we'll get them even earlier!
