Yeah I thought that. Seems the only way to make an appointment is to go there and seeing as I'm from South Wales it's a long trip to make just to book an appointment, then go back in 5 days
 
I agree we will see movement today for the XX:04/05 camp kicking off at 4 , then Tuesday/Wed for the XX:05.30 to XX:06.30 orders

Yeah I'm from Preston in Lancashire so even further for me. If I was a bit nearer I'd probably consider it as a way of getting out of processing hell
 
I'm doing nothing now until after 4pm. Just going to enjoy my cup of tea ready for the surge of OMG I've shipped type of messages.

In the end I gave up on DSM. Got there at 10.45am and got to the back of the queue. When I'd queued till about 1pm the man from Apple with the scots accent and beard (I asked if he was Francis, he wasn't) said that they only had 38mm left. I want a 42, so I left. I rang them back just now and the next delivery is Wednesday.

So, a somewhat wasted trip, but I didn't want to buy something I wouldn't be happy with.

Oh, and I have never seen so many Scalpers in an Apple queue. Seemed very few genuine fanbois to me, but I guess that's London for you.

I ordered mine on 11th April at around 1am UK time so about 17 hours after launch and ordered the SS classic leather and SS Milanese Loop and leather said 24/4 to 8/5 and Milanese Loop said 4-6 weeks. Both of mine were dispatched for delivery on 24th April and I picked up leather from UPS on 24th April and UK Mail delivered Milanese Loop today as they wouldn't let me collect from the depot on Friday.

On top of that I managed to get a SS white sport strap from DSM yesterday and another Milanese Loop from DSM today.

What was more disappointing, yer man not being Francis or not getting a watch? I think I know the answer

I'm getting confused, I called them 5 minutes ago and they said to me they are getting deliveries daily? It seems DSM are confused themselves....
 
To say I'm not being very productive today is understatement...unless pressing F5 on my Amex account, Apple order page and this forum every minute is some sort of productivity!
 
I fear that is just wishful thinking with exact time frame Mint.

If not today, then maybe tomorrow or even once a week so Thursday or maybe the week after...
