Just got off chat to Apple services and was told this:

"At the moment the dates are pretty much set in stone we cannot do a thing to change them as the system is systematically going through each order"

I'm utterly baffled that so many Watches were manufactured after the 10th, why didn't they start manufacturing mid March after the keynote? It's almost like it surprised Apple that they had a product launching.

Has it been considered that there might be an issue with the automated system and after xx:04.

Just saying is it another thing everyone should be worrying about.

Just noticed that the Order Status page outage earlier, led to 3 extra steps being added to the process... Does this indicate that you'll be able to pick-up in store? Maybe to quell frustrations about not being sure when you need to be home to receive your watch - just a thought!

What are the different states of an order?

1. We’ve received your order:
We’ve received your order and will begin processing it soon! You can modify your order details once the order enters the processing status.
2. Processing Items:
We are processing your order now. You can modify your order details through online Order Status, or by contacting Apple Online Store Customer Service.
Preparing for Shipment:
3. We're currently preparing your order and, as a result, are unable to modify it at this point. If items are being shipped directly to you, we'll send you a Shipment Notification email. If items are being shipped to an Apple Store, we'll send you a Pickup Notification email when they're ready to pick up.
4. Shipped:
Your order has shipped! Your carrier tracking number will be updated in online Order Status and the carrier’s website within 24 hours.
5. Shipping to Store:
Your item(s) have shipped and are on their way to the Apple Store. We'll send a Pickup Notification email to you when they're ready to be picked up. Please wait for that email before coming in.
6. Ready for pickup:
Your item is ready at the Apple Store. When you come to the store, just remember to bring the card you used for payment, or the order number and a valid photo ID. We'll need them to confirm your pickup.
7. Picked Up:
Your item has been picked up from the Apple Store.

"At the moment the dates are pretty much set in stone we cannot do a thing to change them as the system is randomly going through each order"

Corrected that considering some orders with June estimates for the 42mm ASW with BSB that most people are waiting on were shipped for launch day

How many have you ordered now!? Your impatience is either impressive or a bit worrying ;)

Two on order :p

The SS Classic Buckle I ordered on the 10th, and the 38mm SG BSB which I placed about an hour or so ago. The latter seems pointless, so will probably just cancel it if nothing happens in the next couple of days.

It could have been worse! I was considering visiting DSM and trying my luck, but that seems like too much effort.

Judging by this forum, It would seem no one in the UK has received a watch since Friday. Where as states side they've been getting updates through out the weekend.

I would have to say that if they are going to launch in multiple countries at the same time then they really should treat them fairly.. to me is seems the US are getting priority on the shipments.

nothing on my Amex, just checked now at 19:00

42mm SS - BSB
8:04 confirmation
AEOD
still Processing

Im starting to get really bored of this, i honestly doubt we will see anything this week at this rate.

Been watching the 42SSBSB thread and it seems west coast US is all shipping with delivery for tomorrow now following a wave of charges throughout the night, but east coast hasn't even moved a bit...

Sunday saw Canada moving to shipped, but for delivery for wednesday. Its all a little bit weird!

Looks like they've run out of watches. so now possible delivery this week on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. The week after I'm assuming Monday is out so that leaves Tuesday through to the Friday.

I hope I don't read somewhere again that we might be pleasantly surprised and shipments are faster than expected. Because they ain't.

I have given up, which is sad really! Always been a massive fan of Apple and always will be, however they've lost a little of my respect today.

I understand they've made a shipping window for a reason and they haven't broken any promises as of yet, however this lack of communication and lack of order shipments to the UK has really upset me, it's not fair and it certainly isn't how I'd expect to be treated (especially by Apple) for such an expensive product!

Anyway to take my mind off the whole situation I've ordered some cheap bluetooth earbuds of Amazon to try out before my :apple: Watch arrives! They've had great reviews, can't wait to receive them TOMORROW (take note Apple) ;) - I'm joking, for all you people out there who will complain about how the Apple Watch has a massively larger demand, I know! I'm just ranting! :p

Just spoken to my Ccard comp. No pending transactions on their system at all. 08:04:13 confirmation

Lack of info is my main problem. Lack of movement today (so far) is disappointing. I expect it to come on or before 8th - but would like to know if this week or next now.

----------

Cridds your order is just before mine. So losing hope for tonight then.

Honestly.

I've been a massive fan of Apple since the early 90s. I've seen it go from near bankruptcy to one of the most wealthy and powerful companies ever known.

I've bought LCIIIs, Quadras, first generation PowerMacs, iMacs, first Intel Macs, every Apple TV, the first iPod, ipod Nanos, first iPhone and just about every one since up to my current 6 plus.

I've argued in pubs. I've converted God knows how many to Apple tech.

I ordered my watch within 3 minutes of it going on sale.

......

I need to calm down before I start ranting - and I need to check my order status.

How I feel...

Soundpeats by any chance?

I've lost all hope of even receiving this week. I'm almost losing hope of receiving it by the 8th now too.

By the time we get 'Preparing to dispatch' and finally shipped, it will be at least the end of this week before delivery.

With no movement looking likely at weekends and then next Monday being a holiday the 8th could be likely for us.
I hope I am wrong!

Part of me is wishing I had went for another option as I liked the look of the 42mm SS w/ Milanese Loop. Might have had a better chance of receiving on release.

C'est la vie. At least I have company in my eternal wait for this damn Watch. :D

Offering the gold Apple Watch has put Apple alongside luxury watch brands, this launch and how they treat their customers waiting for orders demonstrates they are still far from a luxury brand. Customers to them are just numbers.

Im bored of waiting now so I am going to just stop obsessing and wait for a notification. (July no estimate for delivery) i just hope by the time I get it I am not bored with the idea of it. #
