Apple know just how to build hype don't they. Maybe it's why I'm crazy about them so much.

Yes have seen that, spoke to apple they insist that nobody is getting there's before me, BS.

Anybody else in same 8:04? Ordered 42mm SG BSB? Still waiting in processing?

Doesn't seem fair - I ordered the same combo after you (8:05:12) and mine is out for delivery today.

Same for me :-( What time did you order? I was 08:15 because I didn't know the app based store came up first :-(

Ordered about 8:12am on the 10th. E-mail came through at 8:13am

Last time I tried to order my iPhone 6 via the app it wouldn't load up, the normal browser store loaded fine so I didn't use the app to order the watch, looks like I could have shaved 10 minutes off my order time if I'd used the app this time around :(

I ordered the white on 27th and chose a local store for collection - it's arriving today! That's a 2-3 day wait!!! The online order page says you can call the free phone number to swap a strap if you dislike the colour.

It seems there is an abundance of white ones - if you don't want to wait till June order a white one, or try ordering a blue one and selecting LOCAL PICK UP.

How did you do the store collection? There was no option for me to do it at all during the ordering process. Nor anything about a free number for a strap.

---

Scratch that, it's showing now for me!

Think the doc has gone wrong my order says 38mm and milanese loop? It was 42 mm space grey black sports band

My details are totally wrong also on the list. Mine was 38mm SG Black strap. Ordered and confirmed 10th April, original delivery expected June but now due do delivery today!

Ordered a 42 SG BSB on launch day mid-afternoon, expected June. But ordered a 42 Silver WSB last night after deciding it'll look better with the black band so hopefully I'll see some movement on that sooner than later.

There wasn't back when I ordered originally on the first day of preorders. If you place an order now on the Apple UK store you'll see the local store collection option - you can choose anywhere that UPS offers collection from, I chose a nearby pharmacy.

I'm going to try the white today when it arrives and see what I think. The Space Grey is taking so long, I can't wait for it any longer - if it dispatches within 2 weeks I might return the white.

Mine has arrived, it is beautiful!

Enjoy!

I know this is v1, and clearly some regular software updates will make performance improvements (esp. 3rd party apps), but you can already tell it's a game-changer!

I've read up about other smart watches and some have some nice features, but what Apple have pioneered here is something very different.

I checked out the turn-by-turn maps navigation this morning (on a route I knew), and it worked very well. I regularly come out of a tube station and reach for maps on my phone, this alone will be a game-changer.

Absolute disastrous 'launch', which now appears to be the haptic engine's fault (naughty haptic engine - he is cute ho'). But the big issue Apple surely needs to respond to is the lack of openness/communication, and the vague delivery windows!

My fear for Apple is that they forgot their customers (the true faithful) on this one and instead behaved like a big corporate. We all buy apple for the customer experience - the product and the service. The product is finally delivering (sorry jrobert), but the service certainly hasn't!

A post-mortem needed Apple and some public acknowledgement!

The time you received your confirmation email doesn't necessarily equal what place in the queue you are, right? Especially not down to the second.

Somebody who got their confirmation 10-20 seconds after another person may have still placed their order earlier. It's just the email took some time to deliver. That's what I think anyway.

For people who had UKMail and tracked it (who didn't!) did the "Up Next" box appear in real-time or did you have to refresh the page for it to appear?

Is it definitely being shipped by UK Mail?

My order is now showing up on the UK Mail / Business Post Tracking Site, thankfully. It's on the Premier 48 service with a due date of tomorrow :) That's about right for Apple, who usually deliver a day after the delivery date.

It's here. Yet to open but UKmail delivered bang on the dot. So well done to them.

:)

Can everyone update their order status on the spreadsheet please!

Done. I've just added myself on there, thanks for the link to edit the spreadsheet.

A DPD van just pulled up outside..for someone else. Why couldn't Apple have used them :(

I wish Apple used DPD too as they have a superior tracking system!
