Enjoy!
I know this is v1, and clearly some regular software updates will make performance improvements (esp. 3rd party apps), but you can already tell it's a game-changer!
I've read up about other smart watches and some have some nice features, but what Apple have pioneered here is something very different.
I checked out the turn-by-turn maps navigation this morning (on a route I knew), and it worked very well. I regularly come out of a tube station and reach for maps on my phone, this alone will be a game-changer.
Absolute disastrous 'launch', which now appears to be the haptic engine's fault (naughty haptic engine - he is cute ho'). But the big issue Apple surely needs to respond to is the lack of openness/communication, and the vague delivery windows!
My fear for Apple is that they forgot their customers (the true faithful) on this one and instead behaved like a big corporate. We all buy apple for the customer experience - the product and the service. The product is finally delivering (sorry jrobert), but the service certainly hasn't!
A post-Mortimer needed Apple and some public acknowledgement!
I agree! I love it, for me I didn't have to wait too long due to the fact I ordered on Saturday. I'm just lucky to have got a fast turn around.
I'll still be here for those waiting
