Last Apple gadget I ever buy again because of this farce. Hopefully Samsungs next smart watch is better and I bet they won't make a balls up of the launch like Apple have.

Dispatch damn you! Sick of seeing the word processing now haha

Sport 42 with white sport band. Swapping the band for black. Decided I liked the accented silver with the black more than the wait for the space grey. Very subtle difference anyway. Just my 2 cents!

Do you know the process for this at all? Im trying to find out.

42mm stainless steel milanese loop still processing

12 - 26 May so really cant moan but still hacked off

You can book an appointment in the Apple support site under Watch then band exchange or send one in I believe.

Has to be done via online and post not stores. They ship you the band when available and you send yours unwanted back and then you get refunded. So you have to pay for the extra band...

Browsing through the US thread, seems like many users of the 42mm Modern and Leather loop bands are experiencing difficulties, their watch would be dispatched and on the way just for them to get a " has been requested to be sent back to sender by sender" messages from UPS.

Many are speculating a bad taptic feedback batch.

Hope this doesnt affect the UK stock too.

This is a common issue, i had 3 watches ordered and when talking to an apple representative he advised me to cancel 1 as when the "final authorisation" phase arrives all orders will be cancelled due to policy.

I would recommend you hold out, wait until at least they are preparing for dispatch before you place another order.

I ordered 4 and all 4 have been delivered.

hi Guys, finished my first day of having my Apple Watch, hang in there chaps, it is worth it.

Just wait till you feel the taptic engine, discreetly tapping you on the wrist...the watch is amazing :D

Odd, I just spoke to the chat and she said it's in stores. I even made an appointment for a band exchange in store for Saturday. Guess I'll find out and relay back!

Just that's what I was informed when I was on chat. Online orders dealt online not in stores also I guess it depends on which straps.

Code:
    delivery = page.search('.h5 > .block')[0].text.strip.gsub(/\s+/, ' ')

Hopefully you can help with an error I get.

appleorder.rb:28:in `<main>': undefined method `text' for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError)

If I comment this line out along with the #{delivery} part, it works.
Don't know Ruby/Mechanize and google can't really help either.

Apr 24th-May 8th for 42mm SS/Milanese, and in 'Processing' for ever and no CC charge.

Uh I'm doing that then booking now for Sunday! If they turn around will kick off about having a wasted journey!

Edit -

Just had a look and on the site when booking an appointment it says

Apple Watch
Replace watch band (payment required)

Why would they need payment in store if your swapping there and then?

Surely replace and exchange are different things...?

Ordered yesterday, despatched tonight.

Ordered 42mm space grey aluminium on 10/04 around 08:40. Sat at processing with expected delivery from 27/05 to 09/06.

after viewing here last night it seemed that white sports band models were moving quickly so I ordered a 42 sports aluminium with white band around 7pm with the intention of monitoring for a couple of days to see how it progressed.

Current status: White version now dispatched and SG cancelled. Wasn't fussed about the colour from outset given different bands are available. So I should have it tomorrow and hopefully someone who really wants a SG has moved up the line a place!
