was half tempted to just turn up there and see what happensIt's about an hour away from me. But I can't see why we can't pick them up today? Instead of the Watch waiting there to be delivered Tuesday...
Pointless.

Haha! Try it. I can't see why we can't show them our Apple Order status page showing our purchase, address and tracking number. Instead of a bit of card saying 'missed delivery'.
Can you not just chose the pickup from depot option on the tracker?
tempting!
yes i tried that but the dates its lets you choose are wednesday to friday! Can you not just chose the pickup from depot option on the tracker?

Hate UK Mail... Just called them up to see if i can collect my delivery from their depot - they refused. Apple's 'rules' apparently.
UPS have allowed me to do this in the past...

Same, i've just tried and they refused. Not happy.
This thread is the only thing keeping me sane whilst I await my 8:08 SG BSB. So thank you all!
UK Mail are a right pain.
My replacement shipped and was due to be delivered yesterday, but was delayed by UK Mail (it didn't make it from Birmingham to basildon (a 2h30 journey) in 8 hours). Updated delivery date was Tuesday, called asking them to deliver today, and was quoted the same BS that Apple rules mean they can't deliver on Saturdays.
It's nonsense. I asked for a manager and hit them up on twitter - and suddenly my watch is being delivered today. They even had the cheek to say "Oh Apple must've approved it". Like Apple give a crap.
Oh, and when my original was delivered last week the guy was pretty much back at the van by the time I got to the door (about 6 seconds). I did give him a comment about not wanting to wait for me, but he just mumbled under his breath.
The bloke at the call centre didn't really sound like he cared or was willing to help.UK Mail are a right pain.

I feel for my UK homies stuck in Bank Holiday Delivery Purgatory
I would literally be climbing the walls
I am climbing walls because I'm not due any status change until 10 days
I'm just v grateful that I lucked out on a 42 SS WSB, as my 42 SS BSB is the same timeframe as you.
