Order Thread for UK (BST)

I'm going down to the local depot (UK Mail) now to see if they will let me collect mine.

I am due my delivery next Tuesday following the bank holiday.

Wish me luck!!

I went yesterday and got an appointment for Monday, they don't even know if they'll be getting a delivery. I thought they wouldn't but their deliveries are pretty big each time so could be some sort of 'special' delivery...who knows!

Last time I had an appointment they had no 42mm in stock - it's outrageous that they don't let you then make another appointment. Instead you have to come back another day to book and then come another day all over again. All without any guarantee of stock. GAHHHHHHH!

I'm hopeful for Monday but know it's unrealistic...

What times your appointment on Monday? I have one at 2 but skeptical as to whether or not their stock will last. After a 42mm SS and at this point I'll take any strap.
 
Hey guys, had a pretty hectic few days, my dads in HDU in hospital after being knocked off his bike in a hit and run so been all over the place but thought I'd provide an update to my apple watch order...

Placed an order for 42mm AWS SG BSB at 08:05:52 went preparing to dispatch and then dispatched yesterday! It's currently sat at my UKMail depot and would be delivered on Tuesday, however with me being all over the place I won't have anyone in to sign for it Tuesday I rang up the depot and they said to pick it up today I just had to call apple and get them to lift the security on the order. I did just that and it was a faff I'm not going to lie, had to ring a few times and even got cut off at one point but it's all been done! Off to the depot now as they close at 12 to pick it up! Will keep you all updated! :)

For those of you that want it, I suggest calling your depot/customer services and asking the same then calling apple and getting them to lift the security? You only have an hour though as most depots close at 12!!
 
38mm AWS WSB ordered 11pm 30/04/15, payment taken preparing for dispatch.

Separate 42mm AWS SG BS ordered 08.11.23 10/04/15 still processing shipping 27/05 - 02/06

So 3 of the 4 ordered have either arrived or on their way.

1.40pm! I'm also after 42mm SS, preferably with sport strap (black or white), leather loop or Milanese. On paper they shouldn't be getting deliveries but they seem to be quite a priority for Apple...
 
No joy, it wasn't there yet. She said they'd probably get it Monday, didn't think to ask if they were open Monday. They would have let me have it if it had been there I reckon.

Guys I don't know how lucky you'll be at Dover Street Market on Monday, I went today and they didn't have a delivery this morning and only have a small amount of 42mm SS Black Sport Bands left. Everything else they have is the smaller size.

Yep. At least I have JRobert helping and still hanging in there with me :cool:

It's going to be cool to see him get his Watch but I feel like I have another 3-4 weeks at least yet. :mad::mad::mad:

Occupying myself with the spreadsheet wondering what other features I could add to it! By the time I get my watch I think this spreadsheet will be better than Apple's! :D:D:D

I feel for you... I've also not had anything from Apple! other than my additional order or power cables for the watch.. which is a bit of a slap in the face.

I fly off to Cork on Tuesday, so now not sure when I'll get the watch, as no one will be in to receive it.

Does any know if you can ask UKMail to deliver to a neighbour? or do they automatically try that?

You could probably get them to hold it and then pick it up when you get back from the promised land

hmm maybe...but my nearest UKMail depot is miles and miles away. Not to Mention I'm off to Dubai the following Sunday!

nothing for it but to drink Beer in Cork to help pass the time!

You'd think the Americans would treat the UK with a little consideration...After all we did give their country back to them! :p
 
Really thought mine was going to move last night as I saw a lot of 06s move. I'm 06m32s.

Hopefully I'm close to the front of the queue for Tuesday action. Just 2.5 long days to wait!

I've not even had an EOD from Apple.. not a word since I placed my order.
