I have just placed an order too, using Paypal because i'm skeptical as to weight distribution of the stand. (Would return if its easily knocked over) The case however is something ill pass on.

Stainless steel can be polished and buffed for a very inexpensive price, with sapphire crystal I'm confident i wont have any scratch issues on the display itself. After all I'm paying close to £600 for a watch, I don't want to have to put a in my opinion very ugly case on it.

Good luck everyone waiting for their processing hell to end and deliveries :)

I opted for the cheaper 42mm AWS BSB for £339 since I tend to knock my watches around quite a bit. I've been through many watches and I haven't used any other watch since my purchase of the G Shock GW6900 in 2012. It's one heck of an ugly aggressive design:

However, it's been with me all over the world. It's been under the sea at 500 meters, it's been with me when I worked in Dubai under the 50 degree heat. It's indestructible. You can tell I like the watch a lot and I purchased that case so the pain will ease when moving away from it. :p

Can someone add me to the spreadsheet?

I ordered a 42mm SG Sport (Black) at 8.09

From Scotland

Not been charged, nothing changed, feeling impatient..

Cheers Guys

Spigen case and SG sport 42mm

I think the case looks great with the black sport band, feels good on, doesn't reduce the haptic feedback and protects the case really well. I comes with two screen protectors, I put one on to see what its like, don't really like them on my phone etc and have to say it does ruin the look on the watch, you can tell its on there and I keep catching it when swiping up to do glances, might take it off. think i'll leave the case on for a bit, goes so well with the band and stops the screen being so prominent to be whacked on something by accident!

Can confirm i was joking when i said this

Haha thanks for further confirming how dumb i am for even slightly believing you!

And congrats everyone who getting there watches delivered!

I think you need to hold your phone/camera further back.

That looks like an iPad on your wrist! :D

Right I'm back to work now. Catch you all tomorrow! I hope there is some movement today...will hopefully be able to check tonight!

UPDATE ON CALL WITH EXECUTIVE SUPPORT

Ok so I just got off the phone with the executive support team - they had called me yesterday but I missed the call. They emailed me and we arranged a new call for today.

The orders are being strictly monitored. The system they have in place is certainly doing them in the order that it received them and this has checked. The variations seem to be just simply down to the models that have been ordered.

The spreadsheet has been a very informative tool for them and he assured me several times (I think it was 4 times) during the call that it has been viewed by the highest level at Apple. I am unsure if this means Tim Cook is monitoring it or not but they are certainly watching it!

The way things are going he said that he can't make guarantees but almost all orders will be at the earliest points of the delivery timeframes. So those on the 12th-26th May should expect it towards the START of that timeframe if not earlier!

He explained that this is new territory for Apple and they are working around the clock to get the orders fulfilled in the quickest turnaround possible. They are extremely aware that the delays impact their brand and that they want to fulfil all orders quickly as they know everyone is excited. He confirmed that they have viewed the 'How are you feeling' column on the spreadsheet and it's useful to see how people are feeling during the wait. He also said the information from other sources is also useful like twitter and Facebook.

After that call, I must say Apple are doing what they can. He was very professional and sounded sincere that they are working their asses off to get this all sorted for us. He couldn't give me an update on individual orders but the impression I got was that a lot will be fulfilled this week. The team at the highest level at Apple seem to be learning a lot from this and I do now strongly believe they are doing everything they can.

So whilst I am still super excited and incredibly impatient about getting my Apple Watch... I think I am now relieved that I know there is far more hope of getting my watch this week. Keep it up Apple...Let's hope those orders get sorted asap! haha

Legend sir, legend!!

Would love to hear why they brought the Store app up 10mins before the website, that's what shafted me and stuck me in 0815 land :)

42 SG BSB arrived this morning.

Tried to put the 'comment' on the spreadsheet but seems to be locked.

Could you please update my input for being rec'd.

Tx

Keith

Still waiting, i think this is more frustrating because i know I'm so close now! So happy for you, hoping thats me too, soon! :apple:

it really felt like it would never happen when everyone else was getting them and all i saw was still processing

I'd be very wary of investing in anything that uses the hidden port.

This. It's a very sketchy idea. Also, I'd note that in the iFixit teardown, they couldn't figure out how to get the port open from the outside, they had to do it near the end of the teardown after they'd removed almost everything from the inside.

Presumably there is a tool/method for doing it, otherwise it wouldn't be there, but it doesn't bode well for the people trying to do crazy things with it.
