I'm usually quite positive, but I think they are taking the piss now. The U.S. are getting all the watches!

They just have to prioritise the U.S. as it is a much more valuable and critical target market. They will play the same catch up with us soon enough I'm sure.

I had thought it was iTunes but I haven't bought anything in months on iTunes? some others suggested it was a reserve check by Apple so just assumed.

I think it's a periodical iTunes pre authorisation (e.g. Checking your card is still live for iTunes purchases), it will likely be refunded. Good luck tho!!!

Which stands did you purchase?
Since I've got all the time in the world to order one before my watch arrives :)

Hi everyone.....

Ok desperate for some information !!

Ordered a stainless 42mm black sports strap on the 12th showing June delivery and a 38mm pink sports on the 13th..

I have tried to get some idea of when they might arrive, but to be honest Apple have been next to useless, only stating expected shipping times.....

Does anyone have a better idea on expected delivery dates....

People in the states seem to be talking about orders placed in the first few minutes still only just shipping, and Australia seems to be getting orders placed on the 24th delivered already...

I just don't get it...

Any info greatly appreciated !!

Thanks

A few people have asked about my portable watch charger.. So here's a render of it.. When I get home tonight I'll be printing it out and will hopefully post a picture of the real thing.

it has a 2000mAh battery and measures..70x60x20mm which makes it easy to put in a pocket. Without the watch I can't really say how many charges it could do but I'd say at least 5 full charges. It will recharge from a standard micro USB connector.

All 38mm seem to be moving at a much better rate than the 42mm. I just hope today at 4pm we actually see SOME movement.

Im looking forward to the call with the exec support today. Wonder whether they will actually give me any information about what the delays are.

Hi Diavel1974,

To give you some idea; I too ordered a 42mm SS BSB but on the 10th at 08:14am. I am still to receive my watch; although to be fair to Apple they have me slotted for delivery between the 12th and 26th of May. I'm just hoping it is closer to the 12th rather than the 26th!

Bear in mind that once things ramp up and they clear the backlog it will move faster; I hope you get some good news soon.

Well that is ten minutes of my life I wont get back..........just contacted Apple Support online and they said that I should have the order by the 26th or sooner if possible.......I know that already.....:mad::mad:

Well.....while I was on the phone I had a whatsapp from the wife with a picture of a SS BSB that she has for me sitting on her desk.....apparently her boss bought two and preferred the space grey....

Now not sure what to do with my order....do I cancel and keep the money in the bank or do I take delivery of it and sell it on straight away....my order is penned for the 12th-26th May and is a SG 42mm BSB

Talking to Apple won't yield any more information other than what's out there already. The problems with the Chinese supply of taptic engines is one thing which means there's a certain less %age of watches available than they thought they would have. On top of that, Tim Cook's comment on the results call also suggests there's various other issues going on which are normal for any new product - even moreso for something they're doing for the first time - their phone manufacturing & supply chain operation is very mature now, but this is something entirely new. There could be lots of little quality related issues affecting either certain models of the watch or even certain colours of straps which are causing delays to shipping.

Hello Folks I've been following MacRumours for years. Never needed to post in the forums though.

So glad I discovered this one!

Ordered 10th April @ XX:09:03 Watch Sport SG 42
Del Window: 12-26 May
Status: Processing
CCCharge: NO
CCreserve charge: yes £1.58

fingers cross for some movement soon.
You are the exact same as me, I expect we should see movement in the next batch, hopefully this afternoon you will see a charge!

I Ordered same model but at 8:07 and I've seen no charges at all on my credit card...

No change in charges, just the standaard apple store (in my case about 1 GBP (1.38EUR since my card is not from a UK bank)) on the date of ordering.
Still no movement. And I won't be home next week, and will be hard not wanting to check hourly for changes during my stay abroad with limited internet access :(
