Order Thread for UK (BST)

I had an email off Apple earlier saying my watch with sports band will be dispatched in 1-2 weeks. The window was originally 14-27 May anyway.

The thing that really pees me off is this is a watch I ordered last Friday in anger. I have heard nothing about the watch I really want that I ordered on launch date.

As much as I cannot wait to get my 42 SS BCB that was ordered on the 10/4 at 9.32am, I will miss this forum! It has totally cheered me up to think that I am not the only one going mad for yet another shiny Apple Gadget! :)

I've ordered a 42 space grey sport with a deliver estimate of 27th may
Been following since pre order day and I was happy to keep following but then I saw this and it made me so angry I had to post in case anyone missed it https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1879092/
 
I'm starting to wish I hadn't bothered going for early adoption! If I'd known what I know now, I think I would have left it 'til Christmas time or waited for v2.

I swear, if I hadn't invested so much emotion already I'd cancel my order. Too far gone now though.

I am a manager of a apple service centre and a developer so I hope they do prioritise the people who work for them. Don't think this is the case though, pure luck I think. #

Correct, they do not prioritise staff. The guy who done my try on has the same window as me, 12th
 
Could just do this, they in stock but wouldn't get box or anything haha :)

Yes I do. I ordered the Apple Watch Sport on the 29:th of April at 16:04, I got the dispatch mail the 30:th at 23:47 and it arrived at Borderlinx-depot the 1:st of May at 10:22.

I recently just developed my first app, being a web developer(front end) for 10+ years, I found Swift as a language extremely easy to comprehend. Compared to Obj-C. :) My app is called My Geo Spot. Nothing fancy at all. Just testing out the waters.

your design tools looks like a cool app and seems nice to develop it on apple watch;)!

Funny you should say that... I have this on my to do list for my spare time. Design Tools doesn't earn much money really so unfortunately it takes bit more of a back seat. We don't have the resources to dedicate to it at the moment but it's one of the apps I will be doing in my spare time for the apple watch :)

I would PM for a free copy, always like freebies; but don't have a use for it in my present job of being a marine pilot
