Yes it is quiet for UK shipping. They may be giving priority to the U.S. Market

They may? :)

It's obvious that they are screwing the whole of Europe over, only shipping to the US. Have you seen their updates? Happening all the time, also deliveries all the time. 24/7. Several that ordered yesterday, got CC charged today and will get delivery tomorrow.

Apple has let down many British fans and they should really do something to reward our loyalty.

I really do not understand this mentality. They are selling millions of something that is incredibly complex and hard to make; then shipping them all ove the world. They are doing it as fast as possible; it damages them more than it damages us if it is slow.

They'll fulfill all order as soon as they can.

What's the general turnaround time from changing to preparing to dispatch to getting the device? My bracket opens on 12th May so are we already too late for me to get it then?

I asked this from someone who has received their watch. For you to get on 12th you will have been notified by tomorrow latest.
Still hope but doubt it.

in a German forum , someone has reported that up just changed his status . (preparing for dispatch) 42mm SG BSB ordered at 09:04 , 08:04 in england

Might be some movement for Europe today, after all. Keep it coming, write if you get charged or anything.

I don't think they should reward people, unless they end up being late (after the estimated delivery dates). And then I would expect a £5.00 iTunes card or something.

But what I would've expected was a little more communication from their side, just an email saying hey we know you're in a large queue, we didn't forget about you, the estimates are still the same at the moment, or hey we've decreased your estimate window by one week, or just something, some kind of communication, anything really

I'm hoping that once we reach 4pm we'll see HarryT again and get some feedback from his follow up call today with the Executive Relations team.

Edit: And also movement on shipments, obviously!

The problem is they're not fulfilling in an even way and the US has clearly been prioritised. I really understand the difficulties in the manufacture of such a new product and category, but it's not fair that shipments seem to have been dispatched in an obviously uneven way.

That said, I don't agree with the sense of entitlement of "They need to win back our loyalty". They don't. What they need to do is sort out their distribution channels and make this a fair deal for everyone. A £15 iTunes voucher will not sort that out.

I ordered a modern buckle on launch day. Because I have not seen any of these shipped I got peed off and ordered a etch with sport band. I've just been to see the watch with sport band in Apple Store and I didn't like it. My fear is that I cancel the sport band watch and then the modern buckle gets delayed or pulled. I already feel like I've been waiting an eternity. What should I do? I don't really want two lots of watch charges going out if I can help it

God I'm pissed off

Don't cancel you will regret it. If you want you can keep enough money for one watch in your account, and if you get the modern buckle shipped first then success, if not you can always sell the sports band watch on eBay for RRP or even higher (I don't encourage it :p )

But wouldn't the watch I sell be logged to me on the apple serial number thing?

I think you misunderstood what I meant. We are all waiting patiently whilst other nations (mainly USA and China) are all flying first class to instant delivery whilst the first 10 minutes of pre-orders is not even near fulfilled in the UK. This is what frustrates many of us. They claim to run a fair system so either the UK ordered more than the USA or China or the system is flawed. Furthermore, I recognise that this is a new product and field for Apple but I expected them to run it better. I don't understand when people jump to this defence whenever someone states that the launch is flawed. They're not a start up company or a kickstarter sponsored company but instead one of the richest companies in the world. I would expect having all that money in the bank and customers paying a premium for their products that they would manage to be fair to people. Why is Germany still processing the first 4 minutes of preorders or the UK for the first 6 minutes of preorders whilst USA and China fly full steam ahead?

By a reward, I do not mean that they should go around and give everyone Scooby snacks or iTunes gift cards but instead delivering our products and increasing the communication with us. I don't know but that's my point of view and to each their own.

UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE SUPPORT

Just got off the call with the Executive Support team after they had arranged to contact me again.

So no real solid information I'm afraid. I pushed on several fronts but naturally I wanted to respect what he was and wasn't allowed to say to me. The executive team (as in management) have been exposed to the spreadsheet and was one of the reasons why he was assigned to handle my case (I didn't have a case..I just thought they might want to see the spreadsheet).

I asked regarding UK/US shipments and he stated that each region will have slightly different schedules but this is down to the supply chain rather than prioritising US over the UK or anything like that. He reiterated several times that there is no preferential treatment though.

I asked about when the next UK shipments are and he said that he wouldn't be able to give that information. He said that all orders are trying to be fulfilled at the earliest point of the delivery timeframes (so 12th - 26th May they are aiming to get within a few days of the 12th rather than towards the end of that slot).

I said that the community is frustrated at the lack of contact and information from Apple. We have had no movement for a lot of orders and that's hard to swallow for something that was almost a month ago. He said that this will be passed on to the highest level for sure. I also said that even contacting those on pre-order day with a little notice that says something a little more personalised would be great.

He stated that the amount of orders was huge and that every second counted and increased the lead times (he wouldn't say by how much). I think that was obvious but the fact that he brought this point up does make me think that we ourselves have underestimated just how many watches have been ordered. There are 360 people on the spreadsheet... we don't know if that is 10% or 0.01% of orders really.

He said that he can't comment on other orders but that my order is still scheduled for May12th to May26th delivery and that Apple are trying their best to get it in the earliest point of that but at this moment that slot is still accurate. I guess this means no earlier orders.

He was very professional again and I thanked him for the time he took to call. It's a shame I couldn't get more information but I doubt they would give me much knowing that I am in contact with hundreds on macrumors.com... It would be like I am Apple PR haha.

TL;DR: Overall no new information, Apple's goal is to delivery at the earlier parts of the delivery slots. They do not prioritise US over UK but there will be differences in shipping times and charges. Highest level management will be informed that the community want updates on their orders to ease some of the pain.

.....in other news LETS HOPE FOR 4PM TODAY!!!!!!!!!

This. This. And this. 1000x times.

long thread!
I ordered a few days ago (May 4th) hoping to be delivered earlier than July, but by the looks of it, it won't happen :) unfortunately.
