Hi, newbie here, checking in to see what's happening. I ordered 42 SS LL with confirmation email at 08.05 on 10.4.15, and I'm still in processing. Is the consensus that the 'delayed' deliveries are for the more popular models, which are therefore in greater demand, or the less popular models which are in shorter production/supply?
Enjoy your watches, those getting them now! :)

this page has a spreadsheet which you can check whats went quick and what hasn't, I'm a 08:04 Blue Sport 42. delivered 24th

I'm really angry at the moment!!:mad::mad:

my replacement 38mm ss wsb got dispatched last night via ups and i wake up this morning to check progress and i find out that they have incorrectly sorted my package and it is now at feltham instead of exeter depot!! so contacted ups and was told i will now receive it on tuesday? surely not.
So contacted apple and they are trying to get ups to deliver to me tomorrow (i know its a saturday) but I'm hoping they will.

Mine turned up at about 11am!! :D UPS guy turned up at the same time as the recycling truck so I didn't hear the door first time he rang the bell!

I have to say, this has probably been the most agonising and painful launch in recent times but this thread has been a great way of seeing the highs and lows of the last few weeks and special thanks to the spreadsheet guys Jrobert and HarryT for awesome work on that and alerting the Apple Exec team of our plight.

Finally, praise be to Francis!!!

I trust some of us will be ordering an iPhone 6s later in the year so looking forward to the support thread for that!!

We definitely need a 6s thread when it's announced.

Any who has ordered a 42mm sport WSB and payment is still processing.
Just had a little chat with apple and we should hopefully seen movement in the next few days,
(well seeing as it's Friday could go into next week)
but what I got told is that orders are usually shipped a few day after authorisation and that he can't tell us what the exact delay is but its most likely just waiting on stock.
I hope that is some help

Mine's getting delivered to a nearby shop so I can pick up later on. Is anybody else doing the same?

Ahh this is hell! Been waiting since ordering on the 10th for the Watch. Finally ships, it's out for delivery with TNT. I have no specific delivery time though :(

So because of this, I am petrified of going to the toilet, going to get food, I am trying to work and I am spending 55 seconds of a minute looking out the window and the other 5 seconds working every minute. Not much working going on!

HURRY UP TNT !

Have you been to the store for a try on mate? I have and the 38mm was just too small for my wrist.

I have but day-to-day not sure if it will matter or not. I'm just sick of waiting. I know it's probably been asked before but can't be bothered to scroll through 500 odd pages of posts, has anyone else done this and are happy with 38mm?

Dan

How much longer have you got to wait mate? There is no guarantee that if you order a 38 it will come before it, the chances are it will, but you never know.

I have a May 27 - June 9 for my Sport SG 42 mm and a 'June' date for my SS WSB 42mm :(:(

So you're in the 3rd wave for the first watch. I was in the second wave and the watch is being delivered two weeks after the launch. I would very much expect deliveries to be a lot faster going forward.

I would imagine yours will arrive next Friday or it will be dispatched on the Friday and arrive on the Monday. Apple do seem to be beating the estimates by bigger and bigger margins.

If I was you, I'd wait for the watch you want, hence why you ordered it. You don't want to rush into the 38 and be disappointed and then have to fork out for a 42 further down the line

Can someone add me to the spreadsheet?

Type : 42mm Sport Space Grey Black Band
Order Date : 10/04/15
Order Confirmation time : 08:13:45
Status : Processing

Very true, wise words. I guess I'll just wait it out.

In the meantime if anyone here happens to find themselves by chance with a spare 42mm watch and is thinking of returning one (either sport or SS), I'll gladly take it off your hands. I'm in London but can drive anywhere within a reasonable distance.

You add yourself here (that's how I did it). Not sure how you update though, for when orders update/ship:

I am the same mate, before mine got dispatched, I almost drive 2 hours to London and bought a 42 SS Milanese from a guy for 1K because I was sick of waiting haha. Glad I waited now.

Is all that text on the base a removable sticker, or etched on.

Not happy if it's etched, as that doesn't appear in the pics on the site....

Etched on unless someone has already answered this. Not bothered tbh. It's only on the stand to charge which is every other day believe it or not. Really pleased with battery life. Took off charge 7am on Wednesday and it is now only in the red with 18% left. All notifications on. Brightness at 1. Haptic at low.

Funny enough. I decided to stop waiting for something I'm not sure I will like.
My 42mm sport watch is due July.

So I went ahead and ordered a 38mm sport with white rubber band. I ordered yesterday and today the status changed to "processing dispatch" or something along those lines.

I will try it when I get it next week. If I like and think it's way too small, I will just return it and wait for July. If I don't like it I will just return it and cancel my 42mm order.

See this is what I don't understand... there are people that have ordered the same model watch as me (or my other half) at a later date and they're shipping sooner than mine.

Apple obviously aren't processing in the order they're received.

This day at work couldn't be any longer if it tried
Currently out for delivery it says since this morning 8

Same, mine is out for delivery with UPS from their Deeside centre. Now I'm just sitting here, looking out of the window every other minute, worrying. Worrying because I've read reviews about UPSs Deeside centre, everyone is complaining about it (rated 1star almost everywhere), packages going missing, not being delivered when they said, or even the driver not being arsed to find the house and try delivery. Worst part is, it's almost 1pm, I live 5 miles away from the depot, I'm worried something's up.
