Not to be "that guy" but my guess is that a lot of you have had the prediction of 12th-26th and later on, right from when you ordered the watch? You can't go and moan at Apple for your product not being early. They knew right from the off what the supply demands were like and thus gave you an estimation time to reflect that. We're all excited to get our watches, however you can't call it a shambles when they haven't been late on many (if any!) deliveries.

Try and think about the bigger picture - you're moaning about getting a watch a bit later than you'd hoped, yet there are people in the world who struggle to survive!

Wait for your watch and enjoy life in the mean time - it isn't the end of your world if it doesn't come early.

:)

100% agree. Several of us have stated similar sentiments in previous posts. That said, it doesn't halt the bad feelings this launch has generated. All be it a wholly perceived failure, that is how it's seen.

This kind of comment always annoys me.

Whatever your situation in life, there's always someone that has it worse. It doesn't stop minor irritations from being irritating too.

Yes, in the grand scheme of things, this is petty but this is why we're moaning about it on an Apple Watch forum rather than trying to form a demonstration outside Apple HQ.

Agreed.

Pumping out accessories orders before actual watch orders was a bit cart in front of horse.

That made me antsy and sorry if it offends anyone (not really).

Anyway-TA4!

It's interesting there has not yet been 1 website who is talking about these launch problems.. And that they have only processed the first 7 minutes. And that people are cancelling order because of the long wait.. Usually they are on top of it whenever apple makes mistakes

What would the headline be? "Apple ships Watch by promised dates, some customers decided not to wait". Not exactly Pulitzer winning stuff :)

Don't give us any ideas :D I can just imaging the Daily Mail headlines!

Also there were people with June estimates for the exact same watch most of us are waiting for but who got their watches on launch day.

Couple that with the one shipment a week the UK seems to get, pre orders opening on the website 12 minutes later than the app allowing app users to jump the queue, the regular shipments to DSM being sold to scalpers or the other 6 people in close proximity to London allowing yet more people to jump the queue, the fact that NO ONE received a watch on the first day of the second window, the fact that here we are a month on and Apple is still working on the first 8 minutes of pre orders and the blatant favouritism to the US with regards shipments and there is plenty of reason for people to be feeling slightly aggrieved even if Apple haven't missed a delivery window as yet (besides the start of the second one)

From a consumer point of view it is frustrating but when you consider that they had manufacturing issues beyond their control, logistically speaking they are doing well to be meeting and exceeding expected delivery dates.

Apple has had a difficult launch of a new product which may leave people a little bitter but they are churning them out as fast as possible. Critical markets like the U.S. and Asia will always get priority.

I had a email from Apple last night :D:D:D:D:D

Then i noticed it said cancelled  Apple supposedly cancelled it by error  :(

Jrobert!!!

What annoys me is that the US link guys were quoted May 13-27
Whereas we were quoted May 12th-26th yet they are getting there watches on the 12th, and we are getting them on the 13th(hopefully)

I am just hoping to see my June date change into a window for shipping it's only a 42mm ss bsb that I ordered on the 13th!! Here's hoping for a miracle

Would complainers prefer to get a faulty or badly made watch sooner than the delivery window that they agreed to?

Or prefer to wait the agreed length of time to likely receive a product made to Apple's usual high standards?

If neither, they're free to cancel - and the rest of us can move up the queue :D

Its not that we want faulty products but a more firm date rather than june

It is good to see the links are moving. Maybe the space black will be following though not holding my breathe at the moment

Whilst I understand that it's a new launch and all that, the fact remains that certain configurations were never available on launch day and that should have been stated. It would also be nice just to have something from Apple saying that there is movement and things are on track.
