just contacted apple asking about this and either the person didn't have a clue whats going on or it isn't happening, as i asked about the email updating the June to a time window and they said 'we update you but only once the order is about to ship' :mad:

Either way, it was a positive message that I thought the community should see :) I hope it happens, either way we'll be getting our watches in June - it'll just be nice to have a smaller window!
 
Lol i think Apple support are just fobbing people off with whatever BS they want.

i don't think they have a clue with whats happening as i think we should get an update from just saying June, as people want to know are they are the start middle or end of that month and when they should start getting excited for it to come. as some people will get excited the start of June and wont be getting it until the very end of June instead

He should have got charged yesterday but there was an error with his payment. Everything is in order with him just now and Apple charged him. But he will not see any movement until the next batch of his watch arrives. In other words, the watch Apple was going to give to him yesterday, was given to someone else.
 
As I am up in the big smoke for work next week (in Victoria) I will go check out DSM, are they still checking Photo I.D for appointments ? I happened to have sent both my Driving licence and Passport off for renewal and have neither at the mo !

- To the guy who mentioned earlier that he just said " I had an appointment before (at DSM) and you didn't have what I wanted so they let me jump in a spare slot and just buy a watch" did they check you had an appointment or take your word for it? I can't be dealing with making an appointment one day and then going back the next !!

Yes, you are required to have Photo I.D to get any appointment booked.

I actually did have an appointment though, that was true. So you'd need to make an appointment for sure.
 
Mine was dispatched with UK Mail last night. Got an email saying it was due for delivery today this morning, but unfortunately missed the driver!
I phoned and asked if they could reattempt today. They forwarded the request to the driver who said he started his run in my area and could not return :(
Going to the depot tonight to collect!

Because I booked an appointment with them this morning. They asked for ID. On the website, it says you are required to have it so you need it.


They are doing this so they can get rid of the scalpers. 1 watch per customer only.
 
5 week tomorrow I will have placed my 42mm SBSSLB watch order and still sat at processing, confirmation timed at XX:03 on the 10th, I was given a 4-6 week despatch with delivery between 12/05-26/05 technically they have only till the 22nd to despatch the item otherwise the 4-6 week despatch will have elapsed as it will be a whole 6 weeks come the 22nd and they will be pushing it for then with that weekend being the bank holiday weekend here's hoping something happens this evening or overnight

Forgot to mention this also when you arrive for your appointment, they need to see if you are right person.

Unless you are a regular customer and the staff know you, how can they check you are the person who booked the appointment?

Probably lying to you. Like they lied to me not having 42mm this morning when they actually have.

They don't like people calling them over the phone for Apple Watch. The only way to find out for yourself is for you to actually GO there in person and book it. Be early though.

And think about it. You can only book one day in advance. Saturday and Sunday are not tomorrow duh.
 
Don't think harry got his in the end :/ He gave me his number so we could test the digital touch out but i assume he had to go before taking delivery :(

The store opens everyday at 11. I was there yesterday at 10.45, the first to book an appointment. I was given an appointment for today at 11.30am, they had the watch I wanted in stock (SG Sport 42mm). I would suggest getting there as early as you can to book an appointment, so that your appointment time is as early as possible in the day.

Yep that worked didn't it ? when one of our lovely thread members mentioned earlier that he went in there , bought one and promptly walked straight to CEX and "cashed in a nice £160 profit" - nice system, I'm not going to beg to buy something, I have plenty of I.D just not my driving licence and Passport currently, who knows my Driving licence may arrive tomorrow.

I'm a current victim of this with the WSB. Got charged two weeks ago after updating my details after failure, still processing.

Spoken to 3 Apple chat representatives. Two of them gave me a "you should see movement in a couple of days!" And the other one gave me a different answer which is more of the truth. My watch was given to someone else.
