My boss got his last week. Exact same watch as me and our work address. He was charged Wednesday and it came Friday. It came by UPS.

I am guessing they have a London backlog and Apple give them the watches too late on Wednesday to be in the schedule for Thursday.

Lets just pray they come tomorrow!

You would think. Especially when they only informed me of the payment issue at midnight and not when they were dispatching watches yesterday.

Like HarryT, I've a contact in the executive office who is looking at the order so hopefully that may help things along too

Well that's because he booked an appointment with them before. You are looking to make a NEW appointment with them. First time customer. Trust me, if you don't have ID don't go. You are wasting your time doing so.
 
I'm still P4D from yesterday GAAHHH!!! Although I'm really not that fussed now that I know something is happening, I just hope for delivery tomorrow. Must have been a huge batch if the couldn't actually get them all out in one day? That is the norm right? P4D and despatch in one day???

Still didn't work and he still scalped a product - thus negating the whole pompous routine and making it futile.

I guess the nerd rage in me is beginning to show its ugly head.... I'm logging off for a while me-thinks

P4D in 24 hours was the norm.

For some reason that's not happening now for a lot of us. I've got a feeling that it won't happen today (for a Friday delivery). I think we're looking at next week now.

I know. I'm myself a bit angry because I don't want to arrive tomorrow with none in stock and that's because several people scalped before my appointment.

But there's nothing DSM could do about it. It's their watch, they can do whatever they want with it. However DSM will not allow them to purchase anymore watches from them, that's all they can do.

This.

Confuses me though since we received a day earlier date range than the US orders.

A lot of orders with a later pre-order time than me are being delivered in the US which further confuses me - how are these orders being fulfilled exactly?

Edit: I just spoke to selfridges, they told me they had stock in right now, but couldnt tell me what they had though.

Thanks! :D and good luck on your trip to DSM. I recommend you go on the days after you see the PFD noise in this thread.

Selfridges only have Sport 38mm in stock. They never had 42mm.

I'm Manchester... Don't think its a regional thing as mentioned above, I think its due to sheer volume. Hopefully today it will leave them, although it could be late on when it ships.
 
Anyone with DSM knowledges? I finish work in Barnet at 7 in the morning if I head straight there and wait for opening what's the chances of me getting one?

No walk-ins. You will not receive an Apple Watch that day. You would have to book an appointment.

10am is good enough. When I went to book last week, I arrived at 10 (store opens at 11) and only 1 or 2 people were hanging about the store. 7am, there will probably be nobody there lol.

Gone are the queues though. They are dead, DSM did a good job at that.

Just got an EOD and heart sank but it's for the Milanese strap I ordered on the 24th. 5 to 6 weeks despatch, eep! Still not convinced it will work with the space black but I love the strap

Ahhh ok I was hoping to get a appointment for tomorrow as I go on holiday Saturday :( they would probably be out of stock of the 42mm space grey by then anyway :( looks like June for me! Thanks though!

Well actually you can be lucky and get an appointment for tomorrow, but it will be late though like 4pm. You are almost guaranteed to get an early appointment for the next day if you come before 11am but IF there are some spaces left for the current day they'll take you in for that time.

But I wouldn't risk it though. Didn't happen to me today (wish it did)

Get there before 11 and you'll get an early appointment. I got there at 10.45, someone with an iPad came out at around 10.50 and took my details and checked my ID. Got an appointment for 11.30 and got my watch today. Smooth process.

Lucky ******* if you booked an appointment and on that same day you got your watch.

Oh well. What's done is done. Tomorrow at 11:40am, I will know what holds!
