Went to DSM after work today at around 17:30. Store was EMPTY, all four Apple reps were handing around doing nothing. I had photo ID on me but no appointment. I enquires about stock and they confirmed they had the 42mm SS I was after. They refused to sell it to me and claimed they were all booked out with appointments for the day (again NO ONE was in the store), they then refused to book an appointment for me instructing me to wait in line tomorrow morning for the privilege of booking for Saturday.
What elitist nonsense! It's beyond a joke now, my money isn't good enough for the it seems as I'm sure if I was an Arab shiekh or some two-bit celebrity, I would have been served.

Wonder if these prissy boutiques would have served these fellows

Doesnt surprise me, I'm pleased I no longer have the pleasure of dealing with them next week !

If that happened to Arab sheikh he would have probably bought the store, all its contents, shut it down and sacked them just because he can. :p lol

How long have people's delivery times been to Northern Ireland? I know it usually takes abit longer for stuff to get over here
I ordered 38 sport with WSB on 1 May and got it on 11 May. It was delivered to a delivery point (Mace in Belfast). OTOH I also ordered 42 SS black leather loop on 12 April and zero movement.

Can someone please update the spread sheet for me? You will not be disappointed guys. It's so true that you check the size when you first get it tho. Good luck to everyone and I hope you all see changes soon!

To be totally honest I'd actually rather wait and give my money to Apple, as long as it's taking, than give my money to places like that.

Makes me sick. Every day, every time it's a different story. Apple keep pumping them with daily stock- and the low level staff at DSM are given vague instructions by their bosses- and then simply, left to their own.

Each appointment is 20 minutes.

Most likely 90% of appointments finish within 5 minutes because people who booked the appointment don't want a try on, they just visit to purchase the watch and leave.

And it will be unfair for those (including me) who booked an appointment for tomorrow to collect a watch. You can't just barge in front of the line.

It does rather annoy me that Apple seem to think that it's fine to keep shovelling stock the way of places like DSM while customers who've given up their own time and actually want to shop with them directly are left hanging around like spare parts.

I would much prefer to see a return to the old way of queueing at an Apple store for any further launches.

I've gone to preparing for dispatch this evening. Mine is delivered to Belfast aswell. Probably won't get here until Monday now

It'll be Monday alright. Has to go to Tamworth, then Newtonabbey. I drove from Dublin to get mine, hope your journey's shorter, although mine only 2 hours.

DSM is a high end store that sells expensive things. They want their store to be less busy. It was absolute chaos for them on the first week of launch and they do not want that sort of thing ever. What if rich people have visited that day? They will be turned off. That's why they place these strict rules.

And it has worked because now when you visit DSM, it's quiet and open like it was before they received Apple watches. Apple chose them to give stock not the other way round, so if you hate this whole idea, blame Apple.

Eventually these Apple Watches will make way to Apple Stores but this won't happen until they caught up with the demand. September could be the month we will be seeing them in Apple Stores.

God forbid that us mere plebs might want to turn up on their doorstep wanting to give them our hard earned money. I might have gotten this one wrong but I thought that the value of the pound out of my pocket had the same value as that out of some apparently "rich" persons pocket.

If they didn't want large numbers of people shopping there they shouldn't have chosen to stock the watch.

right decision made, going to DSM first thing and getting an appt! hope i get a 42mm SG on sat! anyone know if the prices are the same?

Barge in front?! The store was EMPTY! The staff were doing absolutely nothing.
