Ordered 15th April 5 days after launch and got delivery now as 22 Jun, 2015 - 29 Jun, 2015 for space grey 42mm sports. Bit disappointed really considering people who ordered in May a month later have the same delivery window.... just hoping they surprise me and deliver earlier than that... its been a long wait already.

That's what I've ordered. What's wrong with it?

I saw your post. You know the metal lug that slides into the watch body that the leather strap attaches to? Well when it was fastened, those lugs had a tendency to pull away from the watch body, meaning they were no longer flush.

I have a feeling that not all straps exhibit this problem and is more to do with tolerances.

Have a look at the earlier pages of the "show off your apple watch" thread. Someone else noticed the same issue with his.

Don't let that put you off though. It really is a great strap. Still the best one for my money.

Don't think I've seen any dates in the two weeks prior to the 22nd June.
My guess is they now know the relative popularities and have placed a large order with Quanta to both fulfil outstanding orders and get watches into stores starting July.

Would like to hope I'll get mine before the 22nd but hope and reality are fickle friends.

I ordered 42mm space grey sports watch on 23 April 2015. No email from Apple but my status was updated today from "Dispatched: June" to Dispatched: 5-6 weeks Delivery: 22 Jun, 2015 - 29 Jun. BOO! :(

If the watch didn't launch until 24th April, then it's only been a few weeks so far. and I think you have ordered one of, if not THE, most popular models.

I think they are doing everything they can to get as many as possible delivered in the next two weeks, so that:
  1. they deliver as many as possible in the product's first month
  2. they can report good news at WWDC in early June
  3. Tim doesn't get heckled during his Keynote
  4. they don't miss any promised delivery windows

It's been said in other threads as well that there has been a massive increase in the number of flights from China into their distribution areas.

Fingers crossed for you though.

I think we need to check all deliveries coming in this Thursday. I'm sure it'll be a lot considering people having 26th of may as their last date in their window.

That would be histerical if any mention of the Apple Watch got boo'ed of the stage!

On an unrelated point, I still have a generic 'June' for my 42 Space Black (08:32 on 10th) so not everyone has a more specific window yet. There must be other people in a similar position to me.

Imagine.
Although I bet Steve has given him instructions on how to deal with it if it ever happens. He'd probably go off stage for a few minutes and come back on threatening not to show any more stuff. ;-)

Thanks for clearing that up. I think if I see that issue I'll just take it to Apple and see what they can do. I was originally gonna go for the Milanese loop but it's a bit too 'masculine' for me. If that makes sense? Just don't think it would suit me as well as the BCB will. Still, there always the option of buying it separately. Albeit for £129.

How much time do you have to wait between watch is dispatched and it arrives to your house in London?

I just wanted to add to this thread by saying.WOW. It is totally worth the wait. You will NOT be disappointed.

I ordered mine on the 10th April with the confirmation email landing at 11:49pm so one of the last for the first day I would assume.

Mine is a 42mm Sport SG BSB. Originally estimated June. Now with 27th May - 9th June.

Still processing just now. Hoping it lands a week early now that there are reports of production now being in full swing after early issues :)

I ordered the same at 23:58 on 10/4. But I have the same delivery slot!

You're welcome. That totally makes sense with the Milanese. I felt exactly the same way, which is why I originally ordered the BCB. The link bracelet is even more masculine than the Milanese, and despite me liking the design, could never pull it off.

I would prepare yourself for a "sickie" later this week if you ordered on the 10th April.

Beyonce has one.

Order Thread for UK (BST)

Band only, I assume? And if so, when did you get charged? Thanks

No, it is the whole Watch. I was charged on Friday 15th at 9PM and went PFD then to dispatched shortly after.

YEAH..I get your points and have been avidly watching this thread. My only gripe is that if it comes at the end of June it'll only be a couple of week short of three months since I pre-ordered. Thats the longest time Ive ever had to wait for an apple product. I still can't get why people who ordered a month later than me are getting the same window of June delivery date. But Ive been patient all this time so will just have to find other things to while away the time.

I am with you on this, i orderd on the 12th so expected a bit of a delay but to be put in the same window as somebody who orderd a full month after seems a bit rubbish on apples part. I just think this launch has been a shambles, the fact some watches were not available from day one is a mess when they all went on sale at the same time. The lack of comunication from apple over the orders just lesves a bitter taste to preorder another product again off them.
Saying that i know i will love my watch when it comes and i am already looking to order a second (38mm wsb) for my wife.
