The edition is over priced nonsense. It allows Apple to give a £10,000 gift to people they want to make deals with, and only actually handing over £350 worth of stuff. I reckon the celebs are being given them as bait to get them on the new Beats / iTunes Radio service.

I did say to the guy in Cabot Circus, "I've got £10k in my bag right now if you can get me an Edition". He said he's not able to get one. He also said he's not allowed to accept more than £5k in cash.

I would guess that the woman you saw was a concierge / PA for someone else.

I just hope that it is a sign of more stock hitting at a faster rate to clear the backlog as you say not cleared the first day yet (I know as I am at the end of the 10th April and still waiting)

I am hoping we will see more land tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.

It has about £1500 - £2000 worth of 18k gold in it, so they are handing over a bit more than £350. However I know what you mean, it is ridiculously over priced.

It's a marketing stunt. It's a, "Look at us we now sell REALLY EXPENSIVE luxury jewellery, aren't we diverse?!"

Ultimately, they've been giving them away to partners and celebrities as well as a few tycoons in China who can afford to buy one. There isn't a single genuine unboxing or review of one on YouTube, only people who went and had try on appointments for them...just cause you can.

Maybe because people who can afford an Edition have better things to do than uploading Unboxing videos to YouTube? Just saying...

Currently enroute via TNT for delivery tomorrow to UK address

My friend in the UK who ordered it for me also ordered the same watch config but at 8:43am and it's currently at Preparing for Dispatch.

Crossing fingers I'll have it in the next 48 hours!
 
Couple of us, myself included, only switched to PFD at around 8.30pm. Assuming they're using the same courier, maybe a late dispatch to get as many aboard the van from the distribution centre? Here's hoping #
