When I asked about cancelling my order to wait and pick up in store on the apple website, they said then stock would be extremely limited as they were working to fill online orders as a priority. I think it depends on what you're ordering though as 42mm has definitely been more popular.
I'm a little less excited now knowing I could have picked it up in store today haha! But at least I know I'm definitely getting my watch in the next few days! Yay. Hope your wife and daughter enjoy theirs!
The last UPS flight out of Shanghai is currently being delayed by torrential rain, doesn't look like it will improve for another 10 hours at least. Ordered a 42 SS Link on the 11th with a one to two week window. If it had arrived as originally planned it would have taken a week, but this weather issue looks like it's going to add at least another day to that estimate.
Ours must be twins and on the same plane.
Shame UPS is so old fashioned and doesn't offer delivery slots, safe place or local pickup options. Almost certainly won't be anyone in on Friday.
I'm in the same boat as youi believe , i ordered 38mm sports blue Saturday the 13th went to dispatch on Monday and is only starting to move this morning...

I'm feeling for all you guys with delayed delivery. I went through the exact same thing with the iPhone 6 pre-order and a shambly service from UKMail, which had me going into the nearest Apple store the next day and managed to pick one up there and then, (and then got a return/refund on the pre-ordered iPhone when it eventually arried 3 days later).

Do you think they've charged people cards and moved to PFS to stop people from cancelling the online orders and collecting in store? Just usually people have said they go from PFS to dispatched within a couple of hours and mine changed late last night/ early morning and still not dispatched?

My replacement SS is still in processing and not available at my nearest retail store in Bath. It if does become available then I will call Apple and tell them to cancel my order and credit my account and I will make the trip in to Bath
See the one I've ordered is available to collect at my nearest store and I wonder if they've charged my card to prevent me cancelling the order and going in store to collect, even though they haven't actually dispatched it yet. Would be very sly of them if that's the case...
contact apple online or customer services and see if they will provide you with an apple store credit as a refund so you can reserve and pickup and use the money you have been charged as credit in the store to pay for it.
In pretty sure they can't amend the order once they've taken payment and started preparing but I guess it's worth a try. If they dispatch it by today then no problem but if they've charged my card and then plan on waiting until next week to dispatch I will not be a happy bunny lol
I don't think that's the case at all! I was expecting my order to go PFS yesterday or today so it's just a coincidence, and I think you ordered a day or two before me?

I don't think there is anything sinister behaving this. A sale is a sale to Apple. I think it's just because stock ofor certain models is plentiful now and they can afford to sell in store or ship out same day
Just seemed weird that it hasn't been dispatched yet. I know they're trying to make it as fair as possible, only one watch can be reserved to collect in store and so on, and my delivery is estimated 20th - 26th so they're on track, but seems like they're wanting people to keep their online orders as when I've chatted online to someone from Apple they've told me not to cancel my order and opt for in store pick up as stock is limited, but if the stock is there it's so tempting to go pick it up lol
I ordered on June 4th, I was expecting it to charge my card last week as orders seemed to be moving fast, but like I said before I bet they were gathering as much stock in the UK as they could to fill online orders direct from the UK and also supply the stores for collection.
Just noticed that in my order the dispatch time changed from 2-3 weeks to 1-2 weeks, but the date does not reflect 1-2 weeks from order date it shows 24-1st.
Am i missing something here because if I go off the dispatch 1-2 weeks I should of had some form of activity now for delivery before 1st July?
