I ordered it at about 2:30 or 3:00 today and got an email at 5:09 confirming it and sending me the link to check the order status.
Also if this helps clarify things I was just upgrading not adding a line, I believe that's why I do not have that random SIM thing some people had.
Ordered 3GS from Att yesterday, and have a question for anyone else that did. I initially tried to order through Apple, but if you are adding a line, Apple will not let you order.
So I ordered through Att on line. That went smooth, and I received a confirmation email moments later with a delivery promise of the 19th, and an order number. In addition, they included a link to check status of order. While it says up to 24 hrs to enter system, I have always found transactions like this to be very instantanious.
Problem I am having, it keeps saying no info available for order number. Like not in the system.
Point of post: Has anyone ordered on line from Att and been able to verify the order through link given in confirmation email. I am imagining that somehow I was lost in the electronic shuffle, and now I will not be in the initial delivery if I have to reorder.

I have a similar problem; as I mentioned in another thread, I ordered from Apple on Monday, then tried the Bing/AT&T deal Wednesday, then canceled the Apple order. When I check the order status, it says the info I entered was not recognized (it has been about 12 hours now).
While I know it hasn't been 24 hours yet, the fact that some have said they could check their status only an hour or two later makes me wonder if my order was canceled since I technically had two pre-orders for a short time.
I guess I'll wait until its been 24 hours then try calling AT&T if the status isnt updated by then.

Like others here, I too am wondering what the "Various SIM" entry is in your order. For my orders for my wife and me, when we go to the screen that you're showing there, we just have the phone and the freight shipping, no talk of a SIM card...It took a couple of hours for my order information to show up on that link. It doesn't give much info.

These are two new lines of service, as we are currently Sprint customers. Weird... Any thoughts? Who was that AT&T rep that posts here? Maybe he can shed some light on things.

Are you transferring your number from Sprint? I transferred my number from Verizon, so maybe that's what the SIM card entry is for.
Worse comes to worse I'll call my credit card company and tell them they refuse to cancel the other and have them take care of it.

can any one who ordered through the premier site, view their order status. Mine keeps saying the same thing online.."We have received your order request, and we expect to begin processing it shortly." but when i called the automated message said it was processed.
update: i checked on the regular att website, and it the same as yours above. backordered. Which is most likely going to change.
