10.3.9

Hi just wondering if anyone can help me.

i've just installed the 10.3.9 updater and now i cannot run limewire or any bitorrent clients, I double click the icon and nothing happens!

Has anybody got any clue why this is, i've tried reintalling limewire but it still doesn't work.

😕 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕

Did you remove all your external hardware prior to installation? That is all except your mouse and keyboard. Did your run Repair Permissions from your Utilities in Applications?

I've had that happen before. Doing a cold reboot and repairing permissions I believed solved it for me. Try trashing preferences also.

You might want to try the 10.3.9 Update thread ...

Anyway, Limewire is a Java app, and you appear to be hitting the 10.3.9 Java problem. If you download and apply the last security update, you'll fix your problem.

I've ran the permission check using the utilities and restared my manchine but that didn't work either!

i'm using a g4 15" 1.5gh laptop thats not going to make a difference is it.

i'll try that sercurity update as suggested, is that the lasted security update?
