OS X iPhone and OS X Leopard Banners at WWDC

I have "aquired" the banner for the iPhone in the back:

Do I get a cookie? 😀 Now it's time to recreate the macbook air banner! This will take awhile.. LOL!

They are in denial.

Apple is not going to have 4 notebook computers. Now the only thing it could possibly be (other than a macbook air) is a new design of an existing notebook. However, the fact that it looks virtually exactly like a macbook Air and is in the lobby in plain sight 3 days before the keynote I'm going to go out on a limb and say.....it is a Macbook Hydrogen. (lighter than Air).

If I see one more picture of the poster of the Macbook Air I'm going to flip out and take my aggression out on my girlfriend. You wouldn't want to be responsible for that would you (no not you usingpond?
 
Damn that Apple. Now I'm really excited about buying this iPhone.

The pro: I've really abused my current Nokia flip phone to the point where the top part is hanging on by a few threads, so I have a great excuse to buy a new phone. 😀

The con: Thanks to my promotion (yes, that, too, is a pro 😀 😀), I have no time to sit on macrumorslive and watch the announcement info. 🙁

Not to be too much of a downer, but it could also indicate the exact opposite or anything in between.

If there was going to be a Newton, it would make more sense to brand the new "branch" of OS X "OS X Mobile" (or similar) than "OS X iPhone." The later implies that it will run on iPhones only.

Conversely, it's also more likely, by the same logic, that if there is a Newton it will be using "OS X Leopard." Because a tablet is not a telephone, it's closer to being a "Mac," and we already know that multi-touch is going into both "branches" of the OS.
 
you people are crazy. you actually thing they're going to redesign the MBA before anything else? There are so many other things that need updating!!

Let's review.

Thurdsay: Mysterious boxes clog warehouses worldwide, over 181 sea containers by one momentary count.

Monday: Apple announces a product.

Tuesday: Over a half million products ordered worldwide.
Over 100,000 products ship to "special" customers identified by an Apple developed data mining application, but who order through "normal channels".
Apple servers "jam" twice during the day. The "cloud" is blamed. The interpipes are jammed.

Wednesday: over 200,000 products ship. Over 50,000 units are sold at Apple and AT&T stores. More ordered.

Thursday: over 400,000 products ship today as well. More ordered. Over 50,000 units are sold at Apple and AT&T stores.

Friday: Putin is seen in Russia with an iPhone.

The weird thing is... why call it OS X iPhone if it also goes on the iPod touch? lol

iPod touch isn't an iPhone... and I doubt they'll have a separate name and call it OS X iPod touch.

Maybe it is the name, though. Or maybe they just mean OS X on the iPhone and the new name is yet to be announced.... maybe... lol

But seriously, I can't wait for this! I have been without a mac (mobile or otherwise) since I sold my iPhone and air to make money to move to CA, and I can't wait to buy a new 3G iPhone!

Lets hope for you they help feed your Mac habit. Should be an interesting few days. I'm not really bothered about the iPhone, for me it's a MacMini or MiniAir that'll make me poorer. I hope Apple keep us all happy.

Is it just me or is the iPhone in front of the Air waaaay to big to be an iPhone? Looks like a 7" display to me. Maybe it's just an optical illusion.
 
I'm getting a terrible feeling that the new iPhone isn't going to be worth upgrading to from the original. Poorer battery life, no GPS and no significant improvement in camera would probably cause me to wait for iPhone3 to trade up.

there prolly like cloth posters and underneath them are the real posters with all the new stuff... they probally just press a button and the cloth drops and ta da!.. theres the new products. lol just a thought:apple::apple:
