OS X Lion and New MacBook Airs Coming on Wednesday?

I don't know what you're all complaining about. I'm desperately waiting for this release; I'm without a computer until they bring out the new MBA. Seeng as it'll come out when it comes out whatever anyone says, I'd rather have the rumours to keep me going. For the next couple of days I can delude myself that the new Air will be in my hands on Wednsday, and if not then as long as there's a new rumour that says it'll be out on Friday I'll be just fine. It'd be worse without a date to aim for.
iPad and/or iPhone!!! Oh I forgot those are just toys not practical devices...
I wonder if it was the same guy who told me? He stays by the freeway off ramp, and has a rag for cleaning my windows, when you see him say hi for me.
Watch it drop after the earnings announcement (no matter how good it is) and the release of Lion and new Macs. Expectation always fuels the market, reality causes it to fall.
Last week they said tuesday, or no, thursday. nothing.
Now it's wednessday. Come wednessday they'll say tomorrow.

Anyone else think that Steve is at his office, looking at this thread, laughing his ass of at our ignorance, rambeling, "u" discussion and the fact that our world revolves around a rumo(u)r he spread? That would be SO AWESOME

Uh ? You said you were without a computer, now you say you have an iPad. Which is it ? Are you without a computer or not ? Is the iPad yours or borrowed from someone else ?

Great news if it turns out to be true, but I have a new 13" macbook pro. I'd really like to see a 3G iPod touch & a new Mac mini.

[Updated] "The Sources" just let me know that it wasn't Steve who was actually laughing and crying - it was his dog. They also said there was a widely held belief that the majestic dog is actually the one source of rumors and not Steve or anyone else at Apple.
Based on that I would say Lion is coming next week - if not I will get the updated rumor straight from the dog's mouth

Still, I'm crossing my fingers for Wednesday...so my MacBook Pro arrives on...let's say next week Monday. A, the irony. Waiting for Wednesday for Lion to come out while I will still have to wait 7 more days. Cruel.

I love the hate in these forums nowadays. The reason your here is because you care about the product to some extent; and when others- who are equally excited, make educated guesses based on available information and correlation (ie: Rumors) turn up *gasp* 'WRONG'- you get upset?
I've watched these trolls and pessimistic longtime users for 7 years. Every time its the same thing. Try finding something in your own life to work toward, be excited about, something that you can actually predict and change and accomplish. It would make threads like this so much less of a self pity fest.
I'm happy to wait, because this company is a fantastic machine to watch. Calculated, confident, and elegant. It's inspiring!
