That's a week too early - I don't get paid till the 27th! Will my GM release from the dev programme continue to work for a week?

Wed seems more likely than last week seeing that Apple has only recently called for developers to submit their Lion compatible apps...

But honestly, after the past few weeks of this guessing game, I'm not getting my hopes on this one, no matter how much I want to.

Therefore, I "hoping" Lion comes out by the 29th :)

I'd love a mba that had a glass display like the other Mac's. Shame it adds too much overall weight.

I'm hoping for more pixels--I don't think they weigh very much at all!

Of course, a high-res display is only possible if Lion actually includes resolution independence...something I've been wanting for, oh, 20 years.

Editing 101: "anxious" != "eager"

How many here are experiencing "worry, unease, or nervousness" about the impending release of new software and hardware?

Pompous Nitpicking 101: "anxious" has multiple definitions.

People may very well be "earnestly desirous; eager" for the impending releases.
anxious

Apple is set to have a Visual Set on Tuesday night. This includes new Graphic Wall Panels and also a new window display....is that enough for y'all?

It would make sense for them to release Lion this week, instead of last week. Why would they release Lion the week of Harry Potter. Isn't obvious...

You would be wrong. US websites tend to use US spelling. UK and Australian and others use the u. So it correct for US English.

That is the place where they speak actual English, right?

I am English myself, I was just pointing out that MacRumors is spelt as such.

You are all wrong MacRumors is a 'name' and therefore it is not bound by the same rules of spelling. It is not Mac Rumors or Mac Rumours - it is 'MacRumors' and whether you be US or UK english speaking it should be spelt as 'MacRumors'.

On topic... At this rate any one can pluck a date out of the air and have as much of a 'track record' as all the supposed dates of late. Also since when has MacRumors been the prime recycler of so many other websites content? There was a time when others posted what MacRumors had posted, but now-a-days any old trash is regurgitated into the Front Page of MacRumors and its really all rather nauseating. How about a little editorial control ?

Exactly... The only thing that might overshadow an Apple release is the new Harry Potter... ;)
Geez, they make so much money with this movie... And SJ must be mad not to have a slice of it... Oh well, they'll get their share with the rental on iTS ;)

Enough of the rumors! Who has seen the The Dark Knight Rises trailer? Damn, it was epic. The real question is. When is the trailer officially coming online?
