I am planning to install it this evening. But one question....
When I do a clean re install for whatever reason using the built in restore partition, I install mountain lion and then mavericks on top of it?
Or can we just somehow burn a dvd of mavericks and do a clean install?
And kudos to Apple for the Free!..

I am trying to install Mavericks but for some reason it won't work. When I go to "Software update", it says "downloaded" next to the Mavericks update but it hasn't been installed. How do I install it after downloading? I assumed it would be done automatically...
Maybe a new thread would be suitable for that?Just curious, what applications have people noticed that don't work properly with 10.9? Maybe we can start compiling a list.
Anybody doing a clean install?
Same here, 3 Macs. Besides this is a good opportunity for me to clean out old stuff that might not be needed any longer.
