got to 2.2 quickly then it slowed to nothing

Wondering if I should pause then resume.

wondering if I pause or disconnect at work if it will pick back up a 2.2 when I resume at home ...

thoughts?

the pause resume got it unstuck - installing now ... woo hoo.

Does 10.9 restore RSS compatibility in Safari? That's the main reason i'm still on 10.7 & Safari 5

I'm not sure why Apple ever believed it would be more convenient for me to have to go outside of my web-browser to look at article on the internet, but they were wrong about that.

If you know a friend that has the iLife suite CD from 2010 you can install it and update it to the latest iLife you know for free

First install attempt on current gen Mac Mini with i5 and home made fusion drive failed :-(. It rebooted and restarted the installer and now I'm sweating.

This FREE Mavericks will also help their Keynotes look even better.

"look how quickly our new OS was installed on XX% of machines. that is incredible...no other OS can say that..."

And once you have users upgrade for FREE and try out teh App Store they might have stayed away from, it is much easier to break down and buy another App or two from there.

Now, this is REALLY awesome for me. I have iTunes credits saved up and was looking to upgrade to Mavericks AND Aperture...but was thinking I'd need to add more credits...(I still might) but this helps a lot!

Thanks Apple.

are you on a notebook? OSX will create a hidden TM volume on notebooks, try plugging in your TM disk, run a backup and run Mavicks installer again.

No, on iMac. But found a backup file on my HD. Just moved the file and it's installing now. Thank you for the help:)

For us dinosaurs who are still on Final Cut Studio 7: Any word whether it will still work? Any chance Shake will still work?

No. It's gone for good from Safari.
