Nice. Because Snow Leopard was an incredible release for me. It ran everything Leopard did, but better. If this is as the other poster has wished, I couldn't be more happy to upgrade day 1.

Yeah right, as if 10.8.1 is coming one or two weeks after 10.8.0...

you're going to torrent a $20 OS... nice!!!!![]()
And here's to hoping for a new codename for the next update. No more cats, please. I think the cats are all played out now.
I'm torn it should improve some of what I hate in Lion, so that's good, but it's likely the end of all but the most-critical updates for Snow Leopard, which I'm not so happy about.
Just in time for my out of town trip. Oh well, I will download Saturday when the servers are not overloaded!
Seems bad but isn't. Afaik you gotta register your copy during installation to your iTunes account anyways. The torrent would only help being a relief for the Apple servers since some people might get the OS through torrent. That should not interfere with your end user license.
Or am I wrong?
Why $19.99 and not $20.00? What's the catch?
What is "OS X"? Is that a new iPad Mini? I don't understand. Mac's? Computers? What are those?

How do I make an install disk? I'd like to slide this onto my laptop too.Any idea on when the redemption codes will work?
Edit -- And has it been proven that you can make USB install disks for Mountain Lion as well? Would be very helpful to get a few test iMacs up and running with it tomorrow!
