Why does it say 12th October then?

Good question. I'm on GM3 right now, and when I went to my iOS Developer page, I clicked the Redeem Code for GM3 and then this started happening.

I'll find out if it's the real deal, or if I'm downloading GM3 all over again, so I'm not sure why it's just saying "OS X Yosemite" and not "OS X Yosemite something something" in the Purchases tab.

Hey,
I'm currently on PB6. When I look at purchases in the App store it shows my last "Yosemite" purchase was PB4. Any ideas why 5 & 6 don't show?

Why is this showing when I'm on GM 3.0...

Does Yosemite work with DIY Fusion Drives?

The betas and GM work on mine as well as ever. But that leads me to a digression...

I don't know what the deal is, but ever since Mavericks I've not had access to the recovery partition for some reason. And none of the how-to articles for creating a fusion drive tell me anything I didn't already do. I have two small partitions - one on each drive - that are *outside* of the "union". One is supposed to be boot code for the fusion drive itself, the other is supposed to be the recovery. Option-booting and selecting either just boots the main disk. I've tried copying the recovery image back, but it doesn't "stick." OS updates blow it away. There must be some sort of lambs-blood-mark-on-the-door that I've missed, but no one can tell me what it is.

Since people can get it through the Purchases tab, they clearly have the Final GM up on the servers.. Wondering why they are waiting to release it..

Clarification

Has anyone else been able to download OSX Yosemite? …

Yes …

Not live for me in the UK :(.

… I'm downloading in the UK.

Whilst downloading, https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/id915041082?mt=12 continues to result in

Item Not Available
The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store.

Maybe initial priority is given to golden master candidate beta testers. If so, that's good.

… do I need to be in 10.9.5 to update? …

Probably not, but I strongly recommend an update to OS X 10.9.5 – and a verifiably good backup of that version – before installing Yosemite.

Why does it say 12th October then?

Because some people previously had a golden master candidate on the Purchases page of the App Store around that time. My App Store shows '09 October'. The presentation of the date is a minor bug, but not a bug in the installer app.

As much as I want to, I'm still pretty mad about Mavericks deleting all my Gmail e-mails. I'll wait a bit.

Thanks for the update. I haven't been part of the beta / developer programme so downloading as normal user unfortunately! :)

I've got that too. I think its because that was the first version we downloaded.

If you downloaded and installed the PB at some point, it will show that, as PB 4 is a full installer.

I'm confused. Isee "OSX Yosemite Beta 4" in my purchases. I'm currently running Beta 6. Does this mean I should download Beta 4 from my Purchases in order to get the full public version of Yosemite?

Tried clicking the download for Mavericks. Started downloading and the icon is the one for Yosemite. 5.33 GB download. Will let everyone know if it's actually Yosemite.
