does this build work with adobe cc?

i'd download and install on my macbook if i knew it played nice with the adobe apps (dp1 did not allow adobe cc apps to run)

as for installing on my desktop, i'll wait until the gui gets a little cleaner and adobe gives the all clear.

I have Adobe CC and the applications I use run with DP4. (PS, LR, ID).

For all of you telling us there is no email listen up...

When Apple announced the beta at WWDC many of us signed up that day for the Yosemite beta. After signing up, the website said we would be emailed with a redemption code when the beta was made available.

I am annoyed that they released the beta today and screwed all of us who signed up weeks ago. They didn't email as they stated they would and allowed people to sign up for the beta today and get a code. If they are already out of the 1 million codes then they really screwed over many of us who tried to do it the right way.

yep yep..

the website did say "We'll email you" well,, where is it ?

I bet Apple will get more complains more complains if these codes can only be used one, because several network connection/interruptions can result....

If you cannot resume from another mac, then what?

nice.

They lied/forgot.

I'd hold off on the nay-saying until their site comes back online.

Perhaps they didn't get anywhere near 1 million signups? If you signed up previously, I wouldn't worry about it. You don't even need the email if you previously signed up, just log in and you can get your code.

This is the part I'm worry about Apple releasing Yosemite as public beta when so many people will jump on it... Wonder how many people will read this before flipping the switch

Enabling iCloud Drive
After you install the OS X Yosemite Beta, you will be asked whether you wish to upgrade your account to iCloud Drive. If you choose to upgrade your account, iCloud Documents and Data will be disabled on devices that are not running OS X Yosemite or iOS 8. iCloud Drive will be available only on other Macs using the OS X Yosemite Beta and iOS devices running iOS 8. If you want to continue using iCloud Documents and Data on devices with earlier versions of OS X and iOS, you should not upgrade your account to iCloud Drive.

Next complaint is... Yosemite sucks, I can't get to my iCloud documents from iOS7 / OS X 10.9

do you suspect that icloud drive will be accessible from icloud.com? so far it is not on beta.icloud.com but i consider that a necessity.

It has been less than 2 hours since they released the beta.

Wouldn't it make more sense that they're waiting for the "first batch" of testers to download the beta then email everyone else who don't keep up with the news as frequently to prevent their servers from overloading?

Ok guys,

I got the code already redeemed error. Signed up after WWDC. etc etc

I finally am downloading Yosemite. How?

Easy.

Scroll down to the end of the page. Click Leave Program. Leave.

Go to the beta program page. Click sign up. Enter your ID again.

It will give you a new code. Copy and paste it manually into the AppStore.

It will accept and start downloading.

Oh, also, it will give you the "We'll be back page" again and again. Just hit reload when that happens.

Apple. It Just Works.

Feeling the love.....

Oh, bummer. :(

I guess I also did not read the instructions correctly..need to go to apple beta website and sign in....now downloading:) Hope it was better then the developers previews since they:apple::apple: messed up my checksum and disk labeling on my fusion drive even though I installed on an external HD?????

I never got an email and upon signing into the site had the download link show right away rather than the sign up button a friend had. If you have already signed up then you should have a place.

I find it funny you say you're annoyed before you knew if you had missed up. Do you often get annoyed before things happen?

Spam folder ? Usually iTunes promo ends up in there but my legit developer email dont. Google likes to punch Apple in the kidneys like that.

Nope. no where to be found...

I call a 'Apple decided to change their minds' on this one.

I created a new Apple ID, joined the program again, got my code and redeemed it against my normal ID. Downloading now. :)
