I would believe that Apple not false report this right?

I mean if your NOT one of the first one million people, then users wouldn't continue to see "You'll receive email when available" on website

I still haven't got mine yet

Update: Got my redeem code on website..

Its good that Apple emailed people otherwise i would have never known :p

I have just used my wife's apple account and sign in again to the beta again. This time got a different code and it worked. Was then able to use that code with my apple account.

Talking abut bad internet connection?

Since I have almost no data on my internal drive I am considering installing it directly on the machine because I would never lose anything really.

But first I would like to ask someone who has been running it, what are the main faults that still exist? Has anyone worked with FCP, or Adobe programs, and how do they perform, if at all?

Any input is appreciated, thanks!

There is no limit to the amount of people who can download this, you just have to go through the redemption process correctly.

This is the part I'm worry about Apple releasing Yosemite as public beta when so many people will jump on it... Wonder how many people will read this before flipping the switch

Enabling iCloud Drive
After you install the OS X Yosemite Beta, you will be asked whether you wish to upgrade your account to iCloud Drive. If you choose to upgrade your account, iCloud Documents and Data will be disabled on devices that are not running OS X Yosemite or iOS 8. iCloud Drive will be available only on other Macs using the OS X Yosemite Beta and iOS devices running iOS 8. If you want to continue using iCloud Documents and Data on devices with earlier versions of OS X and iOS, you should not upgrade your account to iCloud Drive.

Next complaint is... Yosemite sucks, I can't get to my iCloud documents from iOS7 / OS X 10.9

I took the time to read that message and I'm so glad I did. I will NOT be upgrading to iCloud Drive! Not until such a time as I have iOS 8.

If you have a third party SSD, don't forget to re-enable TRIM, but TRIM enabler doesn't work as it should. Disable kernel modification blocking and run the app from within the package. If you don't disable kernel modification blocking, you won't be able to boot up.

whaaaaat did you just tell me NOT to forget while i am already installing it? :eek:oo... if it doesn't boot up now, is there a way to get it working?

Thanks!

Code already redeemed?

I am one of many, apparently, getting the "This code has already been redeemed" error. Unfortunately giving feedback at this stage is not easy.

My download was pretty quick! Only about 6-7 minutes I would say! Installing now! MacBook getting quite warm during install is the first thing I'm noticing. :p

Keeps getting to around 1.5GB and then failing. Why can't the download just restart from where it left off? So annoying.

You should see this

I only see this:

I edited out the code and my apple email in photoshop but the rest of the screenshot is the same.

And nothing is in the purchased tab on the App Store.
The code I got on the appleseed website is already used supposedly. Or not working.

finally got it to download.

first account- already redeemed? tried everything no go
registered a second account i had- DL failed out about 10 times but it finally downloaded.

Also was getting the "code has already been redeemed" error...The seed site is now telling me its down for maintenance.
