Hi all,
~long time reader, first time poster~
I'm starting this topic regarding to certain issues that emerged following the process of claiming a free copy of Lion with eligible purchases.
You basically have two option. Either to claim with the short form:
http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/
or the long from:
https://uptodate.apple.com/us/uptodate/macosx/
The short is having trouble recognizing purchase (serials if you want) made after June 20. Therefore, some serials are not recognized because (this is maybe only my speculation, but i guess a "genius" misunderstood some rules...

Now, has any of you tried to contact Apple customer support after having bad serials that should be valid or received a response back from the long forum....?

P.S. These are the hardware that qualifies
