Finally received my glacier defender and couldn't be happier. I'm surprised that the thickness isn't that much different from the black commuter I was using before. This matches my white 4S much better

Love the color combo!

Does not having a shield over proximity sensor/ speaker like the older defender version concern you?

And I notice that my iPhone doesn't fit flush in defender, does yours?

And one more, is there a space a sort of spongey feeling when you type?

Thanks! Not having a shield over the proximity sensor area doesn't bother me at all since I'm coming from a Commuter where there was no protection for the bezel so this is still a big step up. Also, I read that some people experienced issues with dust collecting in the small cut outs of the older version so I'm pretty pleased with the new design.

Everything fits really well. As far as the screen protector goes, I'm very happy with it so far! I notice no spongy-ness and even the lightest taps get registered. One thing that is different is a slightly louder "tapping" notice when typing but that doesn't bother me.

Yeah, I'm really happy with my Glacier as well. Nice fit and finish, and looks pretty darn good on the white 4S. Was worth the wait. And I no longer worry about it slipping out of my hand.
