Otterbox Defender issues

I went back and spoke to another and they said they would, bad thing is they had no more black ones so I have to wait as they will only return same for same.
I'm shocked OB said to go through Amazon. They're pretty good about replacing their faulty products on their own.
I picked one up the white (skin) and black (interior shell) from AT&T, and I can't believe how stained/dirty the radius areas have become. I've tried cleaning with soap, and then alcohol with no visible difference
I've used it one day at work, and it has basically been in the pocket of my dress slacks (light colored pocket). Just a word of warning that the white shell doesn't hold up very well.

Hmmm, I have a white Commuter on back-order; this makes me have second thoughts. So far my white DualPro looks fine, though. Of course the Commuter and Dual Pro have a soft inside and hard outside and the Defender is the opposite. Maybe the soft stuff picks up dirt more easily.
Sorry, I actually just took it back to AT&T for a refund. I did use it with my white iphone, and on top of the quality concerns didn't care for the black bezel with the white iphone. I know that doesn't help you much, but I don't have a way to take a photo.
I can say the rubber outer section is much firmer, when compared to the iPhone 4/4s. I like this version much better than the one I had for my 4.
I don't know if this is a coincidence, the white version that I just returned was stamped as being made in Mexico. I just received a Glacier model, and it's stamped as being made in China. It definitely looks less "raw" on the edges when compared to the Mexico version. I'm hoping it wears a little better for a soft office worker

I'm wondering if it was just something to do with the white version. The color combo isn't listed on the Otterbox site, and might have been something special for AT&T. I'm not sure if the Commuter uses the same outer shell, but I certainly didn't have issues of staining over the entire shell... just the edges/seams.
i have the same thing happened to the light blue/neon green combo. the silicone part is already getting dirty.. im contemplating on exchanging it for a black one or getting the candyshell..
they are slammed right now per their email to me. So if I am not resolve dby the 21st thru ATT then Otter will take over per their email.
I think just because it was still under the 30 day warranty so I could just ship it back to Amazon after I got my new one. I actually went for a full return on Aamzon and ordered a new one from Verizon (saved like $15 with my plan discount). NEw one came today. If I shake it really hard it'll still slide a little within the case but I don't really mind. Dropped it today from about 4 ft onto cement and it took it like a champ.
Mines came in last Tuesday, used it for the whole day I can tell the date was slow idk why I was getting texts/emails late, videos was loading slow, went back to my regular case and everything was fast.

This must be expounded upon. Is this guy serious?? I can almost guarantee you that the OB defender had NOTHING to do with the speed of your phone.
My Defender also has some wiggle room. When i 'unplug' the port cover to charge and then put it back in after, you can clearly feel the phone pushing up within the case. I push the wake button on top, and the phone slides back down. You shake it to make sure, and it's definitely shaking around inside.
I have a job where it is really a huge plus to have max protection, but I went ahead and took off the case. Very surprised that there are not scuffs or scratches on the phone. All in all, i like the peace of mind that the otterbox offers with drops, but I don't like the case.

The phone definitely moves around inside the case without a doubt, likely a result of launching this cases along with the iPhone. But no big deal, solved problem easily with cutting a small piece of cardboard off a bandaid box and sticking it inside the case by the sleep/wake button on the phone, no more movement. And now the case is perfect!
I didn't notice this thread is here. Anyway, my problem is colour distortion. It's rainbow map contours shows up in different places. I didn't have any problem with my previous defender cases, IP4/IPAD2/BB PB, but only with this one.
I ordered direct from otter box, and got the camo defender. It is loose, but I called today and they are sending a replacement. Mine was made in the USA, so maybe those are the ones that are loose ?
The screen protector starts to rainbow for me as well. I can't figure out a solution. The only negative for me.
My made is Mexico was loose, but I haven't tried the Grey/White made in China yet.
I'm concerned about the lame space between the built in plastic protector and the phone screen which causes the lack of sensitivity with the touchscreen....do you think this is a manufacturing defect that will be corrected by otterbox?
