Our MBP is stranded in ShangHai thread [UK/Eu]

Armed forces stationed over in Germany. It was a nice enough city a bit hectic at times. I lived in a much quieter and smaller town. Shopping I found was difficult at the best of times in contrast to the UK, especially in clothing range. I do miss my beer festivals.
I agree they are incredible, but where did UPS9 go? It just vanished before it got close to cologne. You don't think it was descending a little too quick?!

Well, those sites are dependent on people operating receivers which decode the transponder signals from the planes and then forward that data on to the website. It doesn't look like they have particularly good coverage in that area particularly at lower altitudes, there are lots of weak signal warnings and vanishing planes.
Ever been to Osnabrück or Münster (hometown) perhaps? Just curious. As I've heard the barracks over there are quite big but I could be very wrong. At least in Osnabrück the base was/is quite huge and now that more and more parts of the armed forces are withdrawn it gets quite creepy - ghost towns, sort of.

Do they switch the transmitter off for the landing process? I don't know. I'm sure they're fine.
So by now the plane has probably touched down in cologne. Fingers crossed that UPS can be incredible for this last little bit of the journey and get my MBP out for delivery in the UK tomorrow

If tomorrow was Thursday then I wouldn't be too bothered... but it's not, it's Friday. If it doesn't get delivered tomorrow then we'll have to wait all weekend again.

Wow, excited about this, mine's a 19th billing date, and has just had a departure scan! Hope this means what I think it does.

I've been following this thread since it began, but posting now for the first time.
Needless to say, I'm also patiently waiting on my MBP from Shanghai, but reading everyone else's posts (especially today), I'm starting to get a little worried.
The reason I'm concerned is that mine still says "Natural Disaster", even though people who's original "Billing Information Received" and "Origin Scan" is later than mine have been posting that their MBP's are now en route to Cologne.

As you can see, my original "Billing Information Received" and "Origin Scan" was on 17/4/2010. To be precise, my Original Scan was at 11.42. However so many people who's Origin Scan was after mine have been posting on here saying their MBP is now heading to Cologne.
Why would this be the case? And should I be worried about this?

I am confused about the tracking of apple. could someone maybe explain me this?
i got 3 different shipment date. i ordered 3 hours after the store came back. the macbookpro was shipped according to apple at the 16th.
Your orders (see picture): delivers 28 - 29 Apr
Shipment Status (see picture):
- estimated delivery date: 03 May
- current delivery status: 27 April
Which date of these 3 is correct?
By the way, i havent got any tracking number from ups or fedex.

I'm in Dublin so I reckon I've got one more stop on the plane from the UK.
Now let's hope the volcanic ash doesn't clog up the engines and send them all into the irish sea on the final leg
Hopefully the "Merge in transit" macs were on the same flight as the ones with UPS tracking numbers. Or maybe even an earlier one?
Mine is exactly the same. I'm guessing you ordered somthing like a remote or something with it?
