Our MBP is stranded in ShangHai thread [UK/Eu]

If it's useful to anyone, I just got a DEPARTURE SCAN from Shanghai:

i've just had my departure scan and all is going well so far.

I also ordered a DVI adapter at the time, but other than on my invoice, there's been no mention of it. So extras being added on doesn't necessarily point to no shipping data etc.

Does your shipping method say Merge In Transit on the Order Status page?

Nope. Curious isn't it. I've rechecked the spec and invoice several times, definitely ordered the DVI adaptor, its definitely in the spec.

From Apple order status:

Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 21 Apr 2010 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status Shipment delayed due to weather conditions - please contact carrier for update 20 Apr 2010


From UPS:

Shipped/Billed On:19/04/2010

It says that items will ship when they are all available, maybe they had a dvi adaptor there and stuck it in.

That's pretty cool. I'm guessing they only merge localised materials (like AppleCare packs) and larger accessories. Anyway, good luck getting your order soon :)
 
Still watching and tracking says it has arrived in Germany.

In the same boat as everyone else,
Im in the UK
ordered 15" antiglare on date of release.
Firstly it said expected delivery 28th April, the on the 17th i got an email saying it had been dispatched, im still waiting it now says expected delivery 5th May. but that is on schedule .. Im like what happened to the 28th april lol.
No other shipping info is available.

Wont be happy if it arrives covered in dust! lol

can anyone tell me where i can track it is it the UPS website and which number do i use i have no tracking number on my orderpage???

You can't track it until it will arrive to the Apple UK warehouse.

Oh ok thanks bud .. just saw all the other posts and got excited, looks like i'll be waiting till may after all lol i wish they wouldn't write shipped tho when it obviously isnt !
I waited months for the new MBP, suppose a couple more weeks wont hurt.

All the wait is making me really nervous, especially with my old macbook overheating all the time. Hopefully my 15" will arrive next week, even though I ordered within the first 2 hours on the 13th.

fingers crossed for us both =) - my old one had a dropping accident =(
 
Estimated Shipping: 5 - 7 business days

hey guys, I ordered on Apr 18, and got an estimated Shipping in 5 - 7 business days.
Now almost 5 days later it is still saying 5 - 7 days, will this not change before it is shipped or is there some kind of mistake.
Is it not supposed to count down?

I have never ordered from apple store before.

After waiting so long...this morning when i tracked my package it again noticed a natural disaster :eek:

Ordered my MBP 13" (base) on 13th...en still no MBP....

What the hell is going on ? I think I'm about to go ballistic. Air space is open for 2 days now and they telling me my macbook is still on the ground reason being natural disaster ? Are they insane. This is just rude.

Gotta walk the dog, to calm down a bit.
