That's $80 more than the iPads at www.legalitunescards.com but both of these are still way cheaper than eBay! Be careful with ebay as well folks - nothing like an iPad for a scammer to profit from. Make sure you check the seller's *recent* feedback.
I feel bad for you overseas guys, but at the same time I am very happy the iPad is doing so well here in the states. That's really great.

Very expensive though. £649/$1004 for a 32GB iPad? You can get them direct from US ebay sellers for around £460/$700 (including shipping and imaginative customs charges). It just takes a bit more effort, but not that much.

It's tiring enough to hear those imbeciles saying that Di Caprio cannot marry Bar Refaeli because he is not "pure enough" or of a certain whatever ethnic background (something that would make Shlomo Sand cringe, of course).

So - are these sold out everywhere? How hard is it just now to go to an Apple Store and get a 64GB iPad? I really hope its easy because I'm sending my friend to buy one
I watched 5 people in 10 minutes be told that the Apple store I was in was sold out a couple of days ago. I have not checked my local best buys, but the Apple store is having a tough time keeping iPads around.

I'm not too worried about the delay, as it gives more time for any issues to be addressed. Plus, I was planning to get a 3G (assuming the deals and terms are OK) sometime in June when my current mobile contract is up, and I get an iPhone (4). I am also planning to get a WiFi model in September as a gift for my wife when I visit the States.
Edit - I live in the UK, and maybe when they announce the price on May 10, we'll get some more details about the iBooks store availability over here.
