The background looks like the Beta 1 wallpaper they took out on Beta 2 cept with the 5C's color

Looks like I was right about the wallpaper colors ;)

Can't really hide something you're trying to manufacture tens of millions of. Tim Cook must be doubling down on secrecy of new products like the iWatch or iTV or iCar or iRobot servant we don't hear rumors about. :D

Really? I think it looks better than the white fronts they put on the iPods. Also black borders makes the screen appear brighter

Despite all of the rumors to the contrary, I think that is obvious as well.
 
Pegatron the makers of the iPhone 5C have really dropped the ball when it comes to security. I wonder what repercussions (if any) Apple will levy against Asus (Pegatrons parent company) for this.

Apple might not be concerned about cannibalization with the iPad, but with the iPhone? Absolutely.

I also think it's targeting those who would otherwise put a protective case on their phone. 5C = 5 case/cover? More likely c = color or cheap. :D

So I think the 5S will be everywhere, but the 5C only in specific markets like China, to help Apple get a foothold numerically.

The overturned phone on the second picture seems to have all the legal writing in English or at least what appears to be and English/Western alphabet. This wouldn't be the case if the phone was for the Asian market.
 
Well, Apples controlled leaks (and don't think they are anything else but!), have revealed all bar the specs.
Considering the naff signal I get, hmm, and I don't like the touch screen tech in the iPhone 5 because it's not as good as my iPhone 4 was.

I may get a 5C, but it must have the same camera as the 5 does, the same screen res and quality. Also up to 32gb storage and the same A6 SOC would be good.

Well people think of their phones as status icon. So having a colored iphone would show people you brought the cheap version.

I have a hard job accepting that Apple can't do anything to plug these leaks. I was in another of Apple's contractors' plants (in Taiwan) and they were telling me to move to a private, secure area when using pre-production hardware, even though the visible, external changes were minimal.

I think it's more likely that Cook has a very different attitude than Jobs to leaks - they generate interest and hype, so let them be.

Ha dude I was agreeing with you lol. My point was no reason for a 64gb, yes apple will have a monster on their hands if they kept it at that price point .
 
If the 5S has NO fingerprint sensor, which basically nets it no cool new features, i won't buy it.
 
Where are all the "I hate plastic" / "Apple would never go plastic!" / "it looks like a toy!" folks now?

(Yes, there's an option to buy the higher quality one, but there are also higher quality Android OEMs options as well).
